I really like McFlys. Not only is it stumbling distance from my house, but the waitstaff is friendly, and the food is great bar food. Okay beer selection, wide liquor selection. If you go on i believe its tuesdays or thursdays, theres all you can eat tacos for $ 3 and domestic beers are a dollar.

They make an amazing elephant ear sandwich. All you can eat tacos on Thursdays. Plenty of tv’s and they’ll put on whatever sports you want if they get it. And I can walk to it from my house. 5 stars.

Great neighborhood bar, great people. Yes, it’s a fireman bar — and you won’t find a better place to drink on any night during the week. On Thursday night, buy the bar a round with $ 1 beers.

Cozy dive with an Irish/firefighter theme. Stop by here if you’re in the area in need of a couple drinks in a no frills atmosphere. Their kitchen also serves up all your bar-food favorites. My first memory of McFly’s is during a bar crawl on St. Patrick’s Day several years ago. Naturally, it was packed and full of insanity. Yesterday, I stopped by during the day with a few minutes to kill. It was quiet and full of a day drinking regulars(mostly old men) gabbing about local politics, the lottery and the like, all under the glow of TVs blaring ESPN and Fox News. I’d definitely stop by again.

If you haven’t been here on a Thursday night, what’s your problem? Not only is the finest selection of beer $ 1, but the characters that accompany your fine drinking habits are unlike any other joint around town. Between the $ 1PBR, Busch Light & High Life, it’s really hard for me to afford my monthly rent… Let alone the $ 4.99 all you can eat nachos. Seriously, this is the definition of a neighborhood bar, BUT, it’s more than that; It’s an oasis for Omahan’s, firefighters, girls looking to meet some babes, etc. If you haven’t been to McFlys, get your exploring self here ASAP. Plenty of parking, accepts credit cards & the best bartenders around. Simply said, McFlys, the only thing that could make this better would be the buckets of beer being called McBuckets served by Doug McDermott.

Always a fun spot! I don’t think I would always choose McFly’s, but it works in a pinch. Decent selection and a good atmosphere. What more could you want. I will throw an update in the future

This is a no frills neighborhood bar with very friendly service. I think they cater to firefighters? I didn’t expect too much from bar food, but the burger was juicy and flavorful and the secret sauce really added to the burger. Order an extra side to dip your fries or chips. The burger comes with chips, which tasted homemade. You can pay extra for fries. I tried my friends’ fries, and they were thin and crispy, just the way I like them. I would definitely go back!

This is a beer bar. The liquor bottle had all the pre measure pourers. Where most bars pour 1.5 oz, you get only an oz here. We ordered the wings which were actually wingettes(flat+drummy connected). Other than breaking the wings apart ourselves and taking a while, they were good. It’s just a bad dive bar.

Had never been here before until last night when we celebrated a friends birthday there. It was a Thursday night and I was blown away to learn it was all you can eat tacos for $ 4.99 and also their crappy beer night. Busch Light, PBR, Old Milwaukee, etc, was all only a $ 1 after 6pm. There was plenty of room and everyone was friendly. All of the staff said hi and took great care of us. It is kind of a great little hole in the wall and the tacos were awesome, and not small. The best part was the $ 1 beers. Every Thursday. The rest of the food looked great too and reasonably priced. We will definitely visit this place again. I suggest coming here if you are in the area.

This is a bar I’ve been too on several occasions. It’s a regular hang out for Omaha Fire personnel and other paramedics/health care workers. The bar has a pretty standard setup with several TVs and a large area adjacent to the bar which can accommodate large groups. The food is pretty much what you’d expect from a bar… Nothing spectacular by any means. The choices for vegetarians are pretty much limited to grilled cheese, pizza, and a few appetizers. However, the food may be plain but it’s also cheap. Drinks are very reasonable as well. This is a great place to hang after a game or during the College World Series. They also have a great St. Patrick’s celebration.

McFly’s isn’t the trendiest spot in Omaha, but it’s a great place to have a beer and relax with friendly bar staff(Mike is a great bartender, and fun to talk to). The food is just Ok, but if you drink enough beer, you won’t have to worry about how good it was right?
