Coffee is excellently crafted. The nitro coffee is delicious and unique. Though I didn’t have time to hang out, I found the environment perfect for relaxing or work. Muglife’s prices were competitive for the quality products they serve.

I absolutely love this coffee place. Staff is always friendly and it has a very comfy relaxed feel. My latte was made with a leaf in the foam, even though I was going to put a lid on it, still took the time for presentation. Typical coffee prices and services, also has baked goods as well. It shares the store with a bike shop and is also a UPS access point where I can get my UPS deliveries instead of missing the driver. MugLife Coffee seems more of a benefit or service to the neighborhood than a for profit establishment. Definitely a stop for me anytime I am going downtown…

This place was great! I’m originally from Portland, OR so coffee and beer are life! I was in Omaha for a couple days for business and the name of this place drew me in. The daily bean was a light roast Ethiopian that had some great chocolaty notes for a light roast, so good I left with a bag of beans. The only place I’ve visited outside of PDX that had cold brew on Nitro tap; streets ahead for Omaha! Knowledgeable, accomodating, and friendly owners; and shared space with a bicycle shop, which was neat. More places like this need to exist!

We live [and love] to try new places so why not MugLife?! Bittersweet chocolate not like the overly sweet syrup offered at most places and a frothy, creamy sort of flavor. Great staff! Super friendly! The free nitro pumpkin maple was a wildly exotic flavor! Delicious and mello, yet still a boisterous palette! Woot! Thanks Thu– err, Mug Life!

Well, talk about craft coffee. No matter what business hours you come into this place, its always packed with a line or people just hanging out. As noted in other reviews, it shares an open and welcoming space with Green Street Cycles which is a cool partnership you might not typically expect. The awesomeness of the coffee is a bit lost to me and my non-coffee drinking self, but I can tell there is a lot of care and skill and talent in each order being created. Those who love coffee that I have brought here have been enamored with the product. Great place to grab a cup of(craft) joe and hang out or look at bikes!

Delicious coffee & pastries. The special nitro brews they have on tap were absolutely amazing. I’m not a coffee connoisseur by any means… but it was unlike anything I’ve ever had. And, yes, on tap! They have a cute coffee shop dog too, always a perk for me. It’s directly, openly attached to the bike shop next door. And there weren’t quite as many comfortable tables for long-term visits as I would’ve hoped for. I’ll definitely be back for a drink or to chat with friends. It’s not an ideal study/homework environment for me though. Check out that nitro stuff!

Turns out Omaha has much more variety than I expected and this coffee shop is seriously top shelf. I had the nitro cold brew and it was so smooth, unlike any other cold brew coffee I’ve had. Shop keeper was super friendly and knowledgable and didn’t steer me wrong in narrowing down the decisions. Would definitely come back for more!

Disclaimer: I work at Greenstreet Cycles, the business that shares the space with Muglife. The coffee here is amazing. Matt puts so much passion into his science, and they are frequently highlighting interesting drinks. To date I’ve probably had 100 drinks of all sorts made by them. They are consistently great. The space is awesome, full of character(and that doesn’t mean it’s grungy, in fact they run a very clean ship) and lovely to be in. Highly recommend.

Becoming my favorite coffee house in Omaha. First the space, it is a shared space with Green Street Cycle which is very unusual for Omaha but it’s a great idea and really well thought out, especially if you are a biker. The first floor of this building was recently renovated by the the owner of Green Street and they did a great job adapting an old grocery store and bringing it back to life. It will be interesting to see how the neighborhood develops over time. The coffee, Matt the barista is very knowledgable and the roast their own coffee which is outstanding. It is very clear the owners have a true passion for making great coffee. I highly recommend.

Recently, it seems Omaha is getting spoiled with all the fantastic coffee shops opening lately. Especially since most of them(Archetype, Beansmith, Aromas) are featuring their own house-roasted coffee. I first encountered Muglife’s beans at Aromas in Benson and was instantly hooked — they were always super fresh, tasted great and very reasonably priced. Now Muglife has its own shop at 24th and Harney Streets, sharing an open space with Greenstreet Cycles. The layout is very inviting, with lots of natural light pouring in. It’s also encouraging to see Muglife n a section of downtown that is slowing getting less dilapidated and becoming more vibrant(thanks in part to businesses like Muglife calling it home). The coffee, as I mentioned with their to-go beans, is fantastic. Definitely among the best in town. My only qualm is the wifi situation. They give you a complimentary Cox wifi hot spot card to use instead of simply having a dedicated in-store wifi network like every other coffee shop on Earth. Weird thing is I have Cox internet at home, so naturally I thought I could just log in via my Cox account. Nope, Cox wanted me to upgrade or something, so I used the temporary password on the card instead. I mean it worked fine, but was a little annoying. Maybe the wifi situation is only temporary. In all, Muglife is a fantastic coffee shop and one I hope to be frequenting over the years to come.

First visit — Great! The coffee is superb. Its off the beaten path, but its definitely worth the trip. Great ambiance and feel. The owners take pride in their product and are really down to earth. Make sure to make your way to MUGLIFE Coffee.

Been once so far, will definitely go again soon. The coffee is great. I had a French press and I liked it. They use a double filter system unique to one manufacturer so there is less«silt» in the bottom of your cup. Attached to a bike shop, they get an interesting crowd. Many electrical outlets and plentiful seating. There is an abundance of parking but the streets in this area are all one way. If you have to drive around the block, it will take 6 blocks to accomplish(not their fault) so plan accordingly. I’m curious to see what happens here in the future.

I ordered an Americano which was good. I haven’t tried the brewed coffee yet. Friendly staff. Open space with plenty of natural light and sufficient areas to sit. Plus an interesting setup with the combined bike shop. This gives you something to look at while enjoying some good coffee. Steady flow of customers during my visit which is a good sign. Glad to see a local business open up in this area. Hope they do well.

I am a big coffee snob that found myself in Omaha for work and stumbled upon Muglife as I was searching for a decent cup of coffee. I met Matt the barista who is as passionate and geeky about good coffee as I am and served me two delicious cups of coffee — Same beans, one brewed using a Chemex and the other with a french place. There was a fairly dramatic flavor differences in the two cups from Muglife’s high quality beans but both were excellent. Very cool spot, very nice guys. If you’re sick of Charbucks, I highly recommend this place.

I know this place is still green. But wow the coffee here is excellent!!! I am a coffee snob and these guys know their stuff. It’s simple as it’s just getting off the ground in this small section I a bike shop(hipster alert!) true masters of their craft. I hope they can grow and continue serving this liquid gold! Best part is that’s totally free!(Donate as you can to support their success) omg I want another cup right now. It took time to brew(right InFront of us in a glass carafe pour over) but worth the time and conversation The general feel of this coffee nook is kinda like being served coffee by an aficionado. There is no pastry bar and it’s not an overly elaborate setup, simple clean back it’s roots kinda coffee and espresso. I didn’t notice Ny presence of sugar or cream but to be frank it would be an insult to ruin such artistry with accessories. And truth be told I kinda hope this place stays kinda small and local, and moreover stays«free» or based on the«pay what you want or if you can» kinda motif it’s anti-establishment and I feel that the type of clientele they will be attracting will be more than willing to «donate» and maybe they can grow slowly and meticulously craft fantastic brews! If you are familiar with the better coffee outlets in the Midwest such as intelligentsia, spyhouse and Alterra this is most definitely on par and could be a formidable contender.
