I love this place and come here at least once whenever I’m in town. I’ve always loved everything I’ve had here: spinach dip, grilled cheese, their salads, gnocchi, drinks. They also do a reverse happy hour. Just a little outside the Old Market area but so worth it. Staff is friendly and accommodating as well. Wish they had brunch!

My husband and I held our surprise wedding at Nosh. The staff was extremely accommodating from planning to execution. Lyla, the owner, gave spectacular wine, food, and set-up recommendations. The service was exceptional. The wait staff brought around appetizers on trays and menus with the complimentary drinks. I received many compliments from the guests on the food. I can’t think of a better place in The Old Market to hold a private event. Bravo and thank you!

Absolutely wish this place was closer to me, I would be here all the time. Had a wonderful experience. Friend and I stopped in last Saturday after the show at CenturyLink Center, was seated in bar lounge. Our amazing waitress — can’t remember her name! — was what made this special. She had a fun, bubbly personality. I promptly ordered a bottle of champagne been wanting to try. As the bar cleared out, she stopped by to chat about wine. She asked if we had tried a certain type of champagne, we had not, so she gave us a free mini bottle of it to try. Then my friend, who is a big scotch and whisky fan, is chatting with the bartender, who gives her a sample of Chinese scotch to try. At this point, the group sitting next to us leaves all huffy since they are not getting free stuff. Only thing I am bummed about is that we had already ate so I couldn’t try the yummy-sounding food. Décor was nice, good place for a date or conversation. Liked how they were open late. All in all, one of the best experiences I have had out in a long time. Cheers, Nosh!

Great staff! Such a solid spot to end your night! Loooooove Nosh! I love the fact that it’s on the quieter side of the old market. Perfect for a date or even for a solo night! Local & DJs dugout are right next door

I’ve got my routine down during my visits to Omaha for work. Arrive to the airport, grab the super convenience onsite rental car, then head dwtn to my Courtyard Marriott. As soon as I can drop my bags and thrown a comb through my hair, I’m off to the 1 minute walk across the street to Nosh! I love this cute little wine bar that is so convenient, and so good. I’ve had several wines and dinner several times. Everything is always solid. Service, food, and wine. Some evenings I’ve been fortunate enough to have live music while there… my absolute favorite way to eat. One of the many reasons I enjoy work travel is finding these great little spots to enjoy while away from home.

Come for the wine, consider the food but don’t set the bar too high… We had a great dinner at Nosh last night, don’t get me wrong. Unilocal 20% off wine definitely helped. Can’t ask for a better deal on a Saturday! Location is great for those looking for a quick drink before the symphony. The asparagus had the most taste of any I’ve tried in a long time and the baked potato was pretty big but the filet wasn’t worth it. Being a wine bar and all, I set my expectations a little too high I think. A small menu such as theirs should create a larger presence when served. Given the filet had a good taste, it didn’t resonate well with me. I think at first site it was dwarfed by the potato so their presentation could have been better. Maybe a larger plate to take away from the size difference, changing the decision to add cream of mushroom to cover it up, or using a wine reduction… I’m not a chef and don’t claim to know what I’m talking about either, but there could have been something different. This place has a great aura though. I love the atmosphere and the service was great! We had no problem getting in and out even when they got a little busy. Their service and wine selection made up for the mediocre food. I’ve got great memories from a friend’s reception/post-wedding party held there so I might be a little bias. I’d give it a go again. Worth another chance…

I’ll definitely be back! Strongly suggest an order of the sliders, I had the chicken. They come with your choice of salad which is a lovely surprise. The apple salad with candied walnuts was delicious, as well. A home run! Oh yeah, and there’s wine!!!

What a cozy intimate place! I don’t get to Omaha too often but this is a great place to catch up or have a first date. The food was super good, the stand out was the artichoke dip, which you would assume once you’ve tried one you pretty much know how they all will taste, well I assure you this was on another level. Sweet with cream cheese, so yummy. Great happy hour deals as well.

We shared a nosh plate for 2. Quality of items excellent: lemon goat cheese a delicious surprise, creamy Gouda, house-made pickles tasty, Coppola and pancetta delectable. I had two st Germaine elderflower sparklers and could have had a few more. Shared the excellent duck tacos, too. Bethany provided excellent service. Enjoyed our time here and will be back.

Food and beverage selection is good, but the service is very slow. Am staying at hotel across the street and decided on a light dinner so sat at the bar and had a glass of wine and a flatbread — which was good and served promptly. I’ve been finished with my meal and drink for 30 minutes — now have not seen a service person. Would have ordered another drink, but now I just want the check. Damn, wanted to give this place more stars… but I’ve been waiting way too long.

Went to Nosh on a Sunday night with the girlfriend. They have an excellent special on Sundays for $ 35 where you can get a bottle of wine and choose two appetizers or salads and a slice of cake. We got their tasty nachos, sipped the Pinot Noir and then finished with cake. The atmosphere is relaxed and the place has a upscale vibe that really appeals to me. I had thought the place would be super expensive but was pleasantly surprised by the cost. I want to go back to taste more wine and further explore the menu!

I’m in a book club at work and Nosh is our go to place for our get togethers. We usually meet from around 4−7ish, and usually it’s pretty quiet… Maybe only one or two other tables. They have a pretty good happy hour selection from 4 – 6 that we always take advantage of. $ 4 house wines, $ 2 off any glass of wine, and like 5 or 6 $ 4 – 6 appetizers. My favorites are the bruschetta, flatbread, and nachos. All are pretty large, shareable portions! The atmosphere is kind of dark and candle-lit. It’s usually quiet, and cozy. There’s street parking in front and a lot in back that you can pay to park in. Overall, it’s a great downtown spot!

Definitely more of a lounge menu, but good variety. There are a couple of light entrees. I wasn’t a fan of the salmon alone or the pumpkin risotto it came w/but together they were superb, great pairing. The wine prices I thought were steep but I was sold, the server brought me a sample of her favorite«blue eyed boy» and I ended up having 2 glasses. We weren’t sure how the short tables would work out for dining but they were fine and the chairs were really comfy. They even put on MLS finals on the tv for us!

A girlfriend and I dined at Nosh during Omaha Restaurant Week. We wanted to try somewhere we hadn’t been that looked like they had a good wine list… naturally we ended at the wine bar. It was incredibly slow, it was a Monday night, but with ORW going on I was expecting more. It did provide a quite atmosphere for us to chat though, so it turned out to not be so bad. I could see if getting rather loud with as many tables as there are in there. The bartender was our server for the night and he was a gem! I didn’t catch his name, but he is the big guy with a sleeve. He was upfront with us when we mentioned maybe doing a flight letting us know it wasn’t worth it. I ordered his recommended Pinot Noir while my friend asked him to pick for her – she ended up with a shiraz that she loved and has no doubt bought a bottle or two since. Their pours here are very healthy(read: one glass actually lasted me all dinner)! We both ordered off the ORW menu… going for: Appetizers: –Charcuterie Plate: delicious assortment of cheeses. Hard to mess up anywhere –Hummus Plate: amazing! Two kinds of hummus and baba ghanoush. One hummus was chipotle and one with a hint of mint. The stand out was by far the baba ghanoush which neither of us had before. Main: –Apple Chutney Sirloin: cooked perfectly and I am told the Apple Chutney was . Our waiter actually suggested this one for the apple chutney specifically. –Chicken Arabiatta: holy heavens was this a good dish. The arabiatta sauce was amazingly flavorful and the polenta was perfectly creamy. Dessert: We both caved and got the Chocolate Cheesecake S’more…it was dang good and thankfully perfectly portioned. I hate getting a huge slice of cheesecake that you have to eat because it is so good but then feel sick. The best thing about these plates? Most of them are on their regular menu! The menu does seem a bit pricey, but I think it would be worth it. It also looked like they have great Happy Hour specials! So with a fabulous meal, a good glass of wine and great service this place is definitely worth a stop at. I look forward to coming back to try out the regular menu next time I am downtown.

Disappointing to say at least! When in Omaha, go for a grass fed locally grown beef, right?! And with these great reviews why not Nash?! Well I’ve never had worse filet in my life-and I eat out a lot. I had to finish it because it was not cheap but I do not recommend to anyone! The meat was tasting weird, had unpleasant smell, and everything’s BG was really oily. Oh, and I asked for bread to make it easier to swallow and the uncharge was a dollar for bread Drinks were watered down-well it was during the happy hour! Service was alright.

So there are cool spots to chill out, lounge and have a glass of wine in Omaha. I’m not in my hometown often but the next time I come, this place is a go.

So a bunch of my coworkers and I ended up here after a full day at the centurylinks building for a work conference. We were looking for a place that had a decent bar and also served food that wasn’t your typical bar eats. Surprisingly the place was pretty dead when we got there on a Monday night but not sure Omaha has much of a night life. I think one of the best things on the menu was the nachos. As far as the beer and wine selection, they pretty much stock a decent selection but I have to say what really made the place great was the bartender, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different brands they served.

O my, o lordy. WOWZA! We stopped in for a bite and a drink before a show at the holland. The service was great right on point. We were lucky to hit happy hour and what a deal it was $ 35 for a bottle of wine 2 food selections and a dessert. We were with another couple and did this twice. The mushroom Risotto I can say this is one of the best risotto’s i have ever had. the stock was wonderful creamy and the rice was perfect. the mushrooms were soo dang good. The mac n cheese was great. small shells was not expecting the small seashells but after a couple bites i see it was a perfect pairing for the cheese you could surely taste the truffle oil in it. Omg was the risotto great flatbread. It was a flatbread pretty normal but the amount was surprising very large piece enough for more than 2 Overall it was superb and i cant wait to go again(again the mushroom risotto was the best ever! you must go and try it) This is the place to go!!!

We went to Nosh for drinks and appetizers one night after hearing about it. It’s location is great because it is just blocks from the Century Link Center and the Old Market. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip and cocktails. The spinach artichoke dip was delicious and the presentation was classy. Our cocktails were also good. The waitstaff however took a really long time to wait on us. In their defense it appeared there was a large birthday party going on in the back corner that was taking a lot of their time. I believe it took over 20 minutes to get our appetizer though so I can’t imagine if we had ordered dinner how long it would have taken. The environment is upscale and classy. The dim lighting and unique seating sets a great atmosphere for date night, girls night or even a night out with friends. There isn’t a lot of noise so it is a great place to hold a conversation. The menu looked delicious and unique and we definitely want to go back and try more of it!
