Want to hear a joke? Knock, knock Who’s there? 9⁄11 9⁄11 who? I thought you said you’d never forget! So the event that occurred in the early 2000’s can still remind us of our liberties that we forgo this very day. I am of the opinion that Omaha is part of a ‘red’ state and I accept that. Do we need this reminder? I have yet to locate that famed Abraham Lincoln assassination memorial. Or the JFK memorial. We have parks that are dedicated to those we lost. WWI on 30th/Farnam and WWII by UNO. this particular memorial is downtown by the civic offices. Did the nation suffer? yes. Did Omaha come under attack? Not to my knowledge. I feel that this memorial is distasteful and I understand some might not agree, but that is the beauty of our country

This is not a business but it is a nice 9⁄11 memorial right in Omaha. It was erected in 2007 by Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society, The City of Omaha, and more than 300 Individuals whose hands were cast in the creation of the sculpture.
