Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits

Don’t use the drive thru unless you check your order BEFORE you leave the drive thru. I’ve been burned too many times at this location. Don’t go there anymore.

When a customer orders mild when asked, Spicy isn’t what they want. Had to throw away dinner! Please check and listen

I really liked the exterior and interior of the store. Appeared clean. The food took about 5 mins, but I will never complain about fresh food. Tasted great and was hot. That being said, I’m not sure if they keep ketchup and utensils behind the counter because people are stealing it, but having to keep getting up and making trips to get these simple things or go request things you already ask for but didn’t get is a little annoying. I saw people making 5 trips to get various things. And the cashier, dear lord, Jeremy I think his name was, made my blood boil. It’s one thing if you don’t know what you’re talking about, but it’s another thing to start being an ass about things. He called an order that was ready (it was for my family) I calmly told him I’ll take it to her, it’s my family, but I haven’t ordered yet. He ignored me, I said it again. He threw his hand up sighed, and rolled his eyes. I had to raise my voice to him to be acknowledged. I really hate to call this dude out, because I’ve worked food industry for years, and Unilocal complaints are super obnoxious, but this dude was a super douche, and about the time I had to basically yell and then he started trying to intimidate me with his eyes, I seriously wanted to lose my cool. ON A POSITIVE NOTE, the little woman on drive through kept coming over and helping, answering questions, getting stuff for me. She was just super sweet and even went out of her way to bring my niece the coloring book guy neglected to give. Kudos to her for picking up the slack!

Fast, food was good too. My favorite fast food. It seems like someone is always cleaning the place which is a good sign.

Overall a good experience. This location is very fond to me, as it was once a Boston Market back when I went to Creighton in the late 90s. Now it’s a Popeyes, which happens to be among my favorites fast food joints. The food I think is far superior to KFC. The place was unusually clean, by the standards of fast food restaurants. The staff was really friendly, but clowned around a lot as I was trying to give them my order. It wouldn’t have irritated me that much, but I could tell it was causing them to lose focus on good customer service.
Even though when I received my boxes to go the guy confirmed that I had half spicey and half regular as I requested, when I got home it was all regular.
Sometimes I wonder if it wouldn’t be easier if they just allowed the customers to fill their own boxes. Then I could be sure I’d get what I ordered. Not a huge deal, but a bit irritating.
Oh, I also felt it was sort of expensive. 9 pieces with two large sides and two drinks was nearly $ 30, and that was a special they were running.

Haven’t been to a Popeye’s in years… Pretty clean inside… Josh took my order… got the 5 chicken finger combo… however, it took forever to come out… because of that, Josh gave me 2 extra fingers… and the damn things were huge to begin with lol… I’ll have to remember that for next time… best mashed potatoes and gravy, even better than KFC… great biscuit and great dirty rice… I’ll come back since I like the food and Josh was pretty cool and helpful…

Weird about the other reviews written here… I had really great service here, which prompted me to write a review in the first place.
The food was standard popeyes (greasy fried and good), but I did notice that the establishment has been renovated since I last visited and also is very very clean. I even noticed the bathroom was pretty clean, which does not always happen for fast food restaurants.
I especially thought that the staff was hard working-​while we were there and there were no customers I saw them take initiative to wipe down tables, mop etc instead of stand around and chatter. I also got a free drink… randomly. What a nice guy working the front.
Overall it was a really great experience. I try not to eat fast food to often. but when I need my chicken fix I would definitely come back here!

The service here is not very good, but the chicken is very good. The sides are kinda meh, but the biscuits are good. Hm kinda average for a Popeyes overall. But at least the place is clean, not all of them are.

My favorite fast food chicken place that I will never rate more than four star because the god awful service, but whatever it’s not for the ambiance and the amenities that one comes to Popeyes, it’s for the delicious fried chicken.

Things have changed.
Strike 1: The Strawberry Fanta syrup was out. Not a fatal flaw, except they had two heads, and only posted one, which was covered so completely you couldn’t tell it was the Strawberry Fanta.
I ordered the naked tenders. They looked great on the menu board, so when the counter person asked for sides, I said I’ll take the green beans and the baguette.
I got the green beans, in something that looked like green goo. They tasted like green beans, but the presentation was terrible.
The air conditioning wasn’t working by the way. Strike 2. It was 96 outside and around 85 inside. Didn’t they think anyone would notice?
The naked tenders were Strike 3. I almost pitched them they tasted so bad.
Regarding the 8÷26÷11 review, they had plenty of staff, so it looks like they solved that problem. What they didn’t have was quality. I did get a hearty greeting when I walked in the door, but other than that, I won’t be back to this location.
Regarding the 8÷13÷11 review, this wasn’t filthy, but it wasn’t «very, very clean.» It was borderline «call the Health Department for a surprise sanitation inspection» clean.
Yep, it was that bad. It truly is as awful as it sounds.
Perhaps they had a bad day. If you are feeling adventurous, give it a try and provide a review. Just don’t do it today. Please — for your own safety.

Popeyes… almost everywhere I have been, hard to beat the taste, often some of the worst service I have ever seen. Omaha is no exception. I ordered the Catfish combo, had to wait, as the poor guy taking my order was also filling orders and cooking, one man band and it was lunch time on a Saturday. Nice guy, but i had to explain the order to him two or three times. Actually filled the order pretty quick for Popeyes, once he got it. Catfish was really good, as were the biscuit and mash and gravy, as expected. I was surprised at the smallness of the portion, though.

This popeyes location is very, very clean. The food was fresh and the people were friendly. It was what I wish all Popeyes were like!
