This place is so fun! They have lots of very high-quality furniture & art on consignment for a decent price. Then on the price tag, it says the price will be lowered to a certain amount on a certain date. So if you want it bad, pay today’s price. Or you can gamble & come back when the price drops. Genius! The customer gets a good deal. The consignor maximizes his chance of getting a good price and moving the item. The store gets repeat customer visits. My only criticism is that there’s stuff around that hasn’t been priced yet. The proprietor said she had to research the value & that we could leave our number to be called when an item became available. It would have to be pretty special for the impulse to buy to last & for me to feel like driving in from Plattsmouth again. At our little vintage shop, we keep things in our back room until they’re priced, because everyone wants to buy what’s not for sale.
