Bought a 2007 Audi Q7 from Quest. We were shown a clean CarFax report. Then two years later we attempt to trade the Q7 in and the dealership runs a CarFax. Turns out the auto auction where Quest purchased the car added a ‘frame damage’ incident to the CarFax, thereby reducing the trade-in value of the car by thousands. Quest knew this and knew that it would take a few weeks for the incident to show on the CarFax, so they printed one off immediately to show potential buyers. When confronted about the issue, the owner, Michael, just laughed and said he did nothing illegal. Then he offered to by the Q7 from us for a ridiculously low amount. After doing some online research, including reaching out on social media to see if any other buys had a similar experience, we found that we were not the only ones that had this happen at Quest. Buyer beware.
