It was a beautiful hotel with tons of potential. Unfortunately, my experience was less than positive. I’ll just go ahead and itemize my issues: — My room stunk of fresh paint(made me nauseous and ruined my sleep) — bathroom door would not lock(self explanatory) — could not connect my laptop to their wifi(only hotel I’ve ever had this issue with) — no blankets for extra bed we ordered — kitchen was short on cook wear and silver wear — heated pool was not heated as advertised(and this really was the selling point for me as I was driving for 12 hrs straight with back issues) — continental breakfast was an amalgam of poverty foods– cereal, oat meal and toast– no eggs or meat, which was uncharacteristic of a hotel of this size — understaffed front desk and the last one was a testament of overworking their employees: The same woman who was answering the phones– and this is no small hotel– was also running to the rooms delivering the blankets and cook wear, and whatever else people in need were calling for. And the pros: Polite staff. Ultimately, they agreed with me though, as I raised all of my concerns to the morning manager and they comp’d our room.

Check in was fast and smooth for a Gold Marriott rewards member. The room was clean and recently updated. Additionally, the breakfast was great and our little ones really enjoyed trying everything the wanted. If you have small kids you know what I’m talking about. When back in the area to visit this is my hotel of choice to stay.

Over all the quality of ghetto hotel is great. The rooms are upgraded and the staff is very nice. I haven’t had a chance to try the free morning breakfast but plan too. This hotel is much better then the full service marriott that is a bit old.

I’m in a studio room and I really like it here. I’ll start with the kitchen. It has everything but an oven. Totally fits your needs if you are staying awhile. Full size fridge, sink, lots of counter space. It’s an open floor plan of course but still 2 tv’s. One in the«living room» and one in front of the beds. Lots of mirrors. The restroom is nice and spacious. What I really like about the tub is the shelving. So many times we don’t have shelving to put our bottles or scrub. It’s like they know. I wanted to give it 5 stars but I was disappointed they don’t have USB ports. I brought my phone cord to charge my phone and couldn’t. I didn’t bring my plug because well… rooms have USB ports now :/Made do anyway. …used my laptop but still… They have an indoor pool so that’s really nice. They also have a nice seating area outside with a fire pit. Very cozy. And let’s not forget the warm breakfast that’s included. Staff is very nice also. O and a basketball court is on the premise. If you ever come to Omaha, stay here. You won’t be disappointed.

Checking in last night was great. Very friendly and quick but what I’ve come to expect from RI by Marriott. Room is modern which isn’t my favorite décor personally, but very nice. Love the large standup shower as who needs a bath tub? Lots of channels to surf from while working, but limited are for restaurants if you don’t have a rental car.
