I could not be any more UNhappier with a service I received at Ron’s Garage
I called yesterday, scheduled appointment for today at 4:30 p.m. to get alignment done. Told them what vehicle I have, what was done, asked how long it will take and how much? I had to take off from work earlier today, had to ask someone pick up my son from daycare, drove hear from West Omaha (30 min drive)…
Got there at 4:29 p. m, they were very unhappy to see me, pretty much refuse to work on a vehicle. I guess Friday night factor. Talked to owner, no go… He just wants to go home and don’t care about business.
I wasn’t rude or anything, wished him good luck in a future.

Excellent customer service, and honest work. You can’t ask for much more than that.
Each time we’ve had work done it’s been done on time and correctly. They’ll explain what needs to get fixed immediately as well as what can wait. Great people.

I recently brought in a car for an oil change. My usual mechanic was booked solid so I needed to find some other place. I was very pleased with the quickness of the oil change. What also impressed me was the suggesstions for other things that needed to be done-​no high pressure about stuff I had never heard of but basic stuff like a specific thing needed to be done to the front brakes and some belts that needed to be changed. Some places really try to pressure me to take an additional service but not Ron’s. It was more of an FYI and then I asked questions to figure out how important the repairs were and to prioritize them for next time.

I had my first ever oil change here and it was overall a positive experience. As a young woman, I worry about being ripped off or brutally murdered at establishments such as this one, but these fears were unfounded. Ron’s Garage took about 30 minutes and I was able to pay by credit card.
The best part of my experience was the customer service; after an employee had previously told me they charged $ 34.99 (but my car ended up using a higher-​grade oil) he graciously only charged me that price instead of the standard price for that oil, which would have been $ 44.99.

If you’re the type of person who likes a new, polished, shiny car garage, Ron’s is not your kind of place. With the shop doors shut, walking into the office under the cold glow of fluorescent lights feels more like a horror movie than anything else.
But me, I trust people I know… or rather, people who know people I know. And people that give me discounts because I’m in a car club… and people that have independent shops in midtown.
So for all of those reasons, I ended up at Ron’s recently for an alignment. Unfortunately, the work ended up being a bit more extensive than that due to some uncooperative tie rods. Anyway, they were communicative, professional, and all for a reasonable price!
I wouldn’t say I’m exclusive to Ron’s, because it apparently takes a team of people to keep my car in working order. But for anything not already covered, I’d happily have Ron’s do the work.
