Stopped in her for lunch on a Tuesday in November. Located in the northeast quadrant of the 144th& Center intersection next to Westlake Ace Hardware’s parking lot. If you seem to remember them being elsewhere it’s because they were previously located at 108th& Q. I ordered the ½ Pound Burger with fries. The burger patty was burnt. It wasn’t burnt and dried out all the way through, but the outside of the patty was charred and not in that yummy flame-broiled sort of way, but in that«Oops, the grill was turned too hot» sort of way. Overall, a rather average burger. Fries were steak fries and I’m not a particular big fan of that cut of fries. I requested them extra crispy and they did comply with that request. The other two guys in my dining party ordered the Outrageous Nachos and the Pork Tenderloin with Sweet Potato Fries. The nachos were good, but he was disappointed that they used canned/pickled jalapeños instead of fresh jalapeños. The pork tenderloin seemed to be the star of the show. He loved it and also thought the crinkle-cut sweet potato fries were very good too. Service was attentive and friendly, but I really didn’t get the vibe that the waitress really enjoyed what she did. She sort of had that friendly but burnt-out vibe you get from some older waitresses. Overall, a nice place inside. Certainly has a nice Irish Pub feel to the place. I’ve not been here for Happy Hour or to drink at night, so I cannot comment on their bar scene, but as a lunch destination it’s mostly just okay.

Best wings, Reuben and Irish club in Omaha! Triple decker sandwiches! Delicious! Tom the waiter friendly & cute! Can’t wait to return on Monday for 45 cent wings. Nice crowd on a Saturday night not too noisy.

Food was okay. Service was okay… I ordered the French dip. The au jus wasn’t very good. Kinda tasted like soap(hard to explain but soap is the best taste I can compare it to). The meat was somewhat dry. Our server didn’t seem too interested in her job… just there for the paycheck type of person… the men’s restroom on the other hand… GROSS. Both toilets looked like many people had puked in them(sorry to gross you out, just being honest!) the bathroom was overall filthy. Floor was very gross I was so happy when I went to sink and there was actually soap. Because of the bathroom was so gross I do t think I’ll be back. If they can’t maintain areas like the bathroom and front of the house it scares me to even think what the back of the house would look like.

It’s nice and quiet. I came here on Saturday but people are here enjoying food and drink. More adults here. Doesn’t mean you can not bring kids, I mean it’s not like most bars but more like a quiet bar where people can come here whether you are with a group of people or by yourself. They don’t have Killkenny it’s all good so long as you are adventurous enough to try something different or have other Irish beer :) Bartenders are very informative so I felt comfortable asking questions and decide what I want for myself. Definitely come back to try some food here next time.

Irish Bar with plenty of beer options. I had their Reuben sandwich and it had thick slices of tasty corned beef and a good balance of sauce and sauerkraut. Several in my party got the salmon and said it was very good. Kind of Clark with several tv son sports channels

I’ve eaten at Sean O’Casey’s several times — I almost always(I should say always) get their Reuben — because it’s amazing! They moved from 108& L to 140th and… something — it’s a curvy road, not easy to locate(south on Center) — but they have a large sign to point you in the right direction! It’s a very laid back atmosphere — I think the décor that they have(now) in the new location is cool — it feels very much like a pub. Their service is fairly fast and though I think the waitresses could be friendlier, it isn’t something that will stop me. The food: Like I said, I always get their Reuben — it’s always VERY, very good! Its huge — like a triple-decker. I eat it with a fork and a knife and enjoy every bite of it! The corned beef is always very tender and tasty — not dry at all! They have a variety of specials throughout the week. I’m also a big fan of ranch dressing with my fries — and theirs is definitely a good ranch! They serve steak fries, which aren’t my favorite — but that is just a personal opinion and I eat the smaller ones… but lets be honest, I’m stuffed with my Reuben I don’t even care about the fries!!! This is making me hungry and I might need to go there for lunch now…

We ate at their prior location at least 50 times. It WAS our favorite place to go for: Great food Great service Great atmosphere Great specials It was a can’t-miss spot. Since their move to the current location, everything has gotten worse. I’ve been there a hand full of times and will probably not go back. Reasons? Noisey Slow service Uninviting Flavor On a positive note, the Reuben and Guinness are still really good. But there are 3 – 4 other places that can do that. I hate that they took away my can’t-miss pub. I’m looking for their replacement.

Hate to see a good restaurant town like Omaha become an epicenter for chain restaurants. When my Dad and I were looking for a spot for lunch, he suggested this place which is nearby. I like to support independent or family run whenever I can. Upon walking in, it was confusing. Do I grab my own table? Do I wait for a staffer to place me? No sign to indicate, so we just grabbed a table. While we paused, the gal who turned out to be our server was right in front of us, against the wall, eating her lunch. Not a good first impression. Grabbed a table in the middle of the place, server came over and gave us menus and returned with water. Place seemed a little loud, considering there were only 3 other tables occupied. Looked at the floor and thought«wow, that’s kind of dirty» and said something to my Dad. As a return customer, he indicated it was pretty normal and if you look at the bottom of the tables, it doesn’t appear that stuff gets moved around and cleaned under very often. Made me wonder if the kitchen is similarly untidy. Food came in reasonable time. Looked at what Dad ordered and thought«glad I didn’t get that» as it didn’t look very appetizing. My fish and chips were kind of blah. Chips were fine, but that is easy to accomplish. Fish didn’t have much flavor, compared to others I’ve tried. In summary, not sure I’d try Sean’s again. Perhaps, if I could be sure the place is clean, staff hanging out and eating are not visible, and the food taste and presentation improves. Good luck Mr. O’Casey

It has been a while since I was at the old Sean O’Casey’s(which is now a Dunkin Donuts), so I cant really compare this place to their former location. It was a little smaller than I was expecting, a small bar to the right a small dining area to the left. I told the wait that I heard they had one of the best Reuben in town. Her response was«we seem to sell a lot of them.» Nice selling me… It was a top notch Reuben for sure, lots of beef, nice mixture of ingredients. The place was really loud, there was a large table to my left, I could hardly hear one of my companions. After we were done for a while, our wait came back and asked if I needed a box, which I affirmed. 10 minutes later another wait asked if I needed a box. 10 minutes later it arrived. If not for the atmosphere and Staff I would have given the place 5 stars.

Cool little Irish Pub in the middle of Southwest Omaha. The little sign out front says«best Reuben in Omaha». No lie. It is true. They should have another sign that says«best fish & chips in Omaha», too. Best Irish club sandwich, too(corned beef and roast beef) and the salmon salad looked good, too. Servings are generous. Dinner for 4 with beers, $ 45. Not including 20% tip. Server was Piper and she was friendly and fast. Service was good. It had been awhile since I’d been here, sort of forgot about it, we’ll go back more often. And they have specials like 45 cent wings and 3 dollar beers on Mondays. No one does specials any more! Slainte!

I went to an Irish bar with a decent craft beer list … and I didn’t eat any Irish food or drink any beer. So take my review with a grain of salt. But what I did experience here was great service. I was in one of those completely indecisive moods — all I knew was I didn’t want beer. The bartender just mixed me up a drink. Not difficult to guess that a 20-something girl would enjoy a fruity cocktail — but I was appreciative nonetheless. He also overheard that it was my old man’s birthday, so he gave him a beer on the house. And that makes Sean O’Casey’s a win in my book. We’ll definitely be back.

Had an excellent double decker reuben sandwich. Thick and tender chunks of real corned beef,(not those paper thin grocery store sand wich portions.) Couple that with a crisp side salad and a glass of Guinness on tap, and I was a very happy guy! Staff is very courteous and friendly. I definitely recommend.

Solid 3 ½ stars, if there were half stars. Nice atmosphere(more room then the old location) but small Irish food selection with just a typical bar menu and little to make it stand out from other bars that serve food in Omaha. I tried out the cottage pie with a Harp, and my husband got the Irish club with a Smithwicks. The other Irish offerings are a fish and chips, the corned beef and cabbage on Thursday or the Reuben(which might be a stretch to call it Irish, but it does have corned beef on it). I was just expecting a bit more in the way of Irish food, then typical bar food. The cottage pie was OK, but came topped with cheese(which isn’t proper or noted on the menu), and the top didn’t look browned at all. Come on I need my crunchy mashed potato bits on top! The Irish club is great if you are looking for a meatastic sandwich, but isn’t the easiest thing to eat, and the tomatoes were rock hard which just shouldn’t happen this time of the year. Decent service for a week night, and the room wasn’t loud, so it was nice for conversation. I would try it out again on a Thursday to check out the corned beef and cabbage dinner special.

Sean O’ Casey’s has the best french dip I have ever had. In my life. Amazing. It has ruined me from ordering french dips anywhere else, because they are so good here. Try one! Also, their other food is pretty good for pub fare.
