I’ve seen so many great shows here over the years. Dismemberment Plan, Bright Eyes, At The Drive In, Pedro The Lion, Neva Dinova, Cursive, The Faint, Of Montréal. This list goes on and on. Back in the days before the Waiting Room and Slowdown were around, this was THE venue in Omaha to see local and independent touring bands. While Sokol Underground doesn’t enjoy the same volume of shows it once had, it’s still plugging along after all these years. Nowadays, mostly hardcore shows are booked here. And maybe only a couple a week on a good week. Still, going to a show here is a classic Omaha experience.
