Yeah! I am a new fan. Super cute little shop with furniture, knick knacks, glassware, plates, etc etc etc. So much fun stuff. I get the feeling you need to be a «regular» to get some good stuff. There was so much awesome stuff but I think stuff probably just flies out of there. Prices are super reasonable which just makes me want to go back. When I went in, the couple who owns the business was there. They are just a charming as their shop. Why am I writing this review? I would prefer to keep this place a secret!

I just bought a set of «Mad Men» style glasses here. And they are adorable. Tons of great vintage and modernish stuff — furniture, vases, plates, glasses, artwork. And I must stress how inexpensive all of the items in the store were. If I lived in Omaha, I would have been carrying out much more than the set of glasses I purchased. Plus, the owners — Andie and Kyle — are very personable, fun, and knowledgeable. Give this place a looksie. You will be very pleased.

A friend and I went into The Humble Home after driving by several times and commenting on the eye-catching street window and were excited to see that inside the store was just as great. The owner was kind enough to chat with us and from what I understand, she refurbishes most things in the store. I thought the prices were extremely fair considering the time it takes them to find the pieces and restore them.

Usually when I hear something described as «shabby chIc» I want to vomit. I imagine lots of pastels, dried flowers with eucalyptus, and doilies. I would describe The Humble Home as shabby chic… but in a good way. You’ll understand what I’m saying when you get there. The space itself is beautiful and the owner has done a lovely job of keeping it stocked with simple vintage furniture, dishware, and home décor. The website and facebook page are helpful if you want to get a better idea of what they sell, but I recommend you just stop in and check it out yourself!(And be sure to check out McMillan Antiques, just down the street, when you are there.)
