Ivy was kind enough to do our son’s senior pictures. She was so good with him. I loved that she was attentive to him and not us. He had such a great time and the pictures were amazing. She is a jewel for sure! Don’t hesitate to hire her!

Im not sure how she did it, but she did! What is that, you ask? Well. I personally HATE taking pictures, but being that we had to take photographs I had no choice. I was referred to Ivy at The Pic Chick through two friends, both of whom utilized her photo skills at their weddings and family portraits. My first experience with her was for a Pin Up/​Boudoir shoot she hosted for a group of girl friends. She automatically made me very comfortable in my skin, and we all had a great time. It was there that I saw that Ivy is professional and very knowledgeable and talented at her craft. We didn’t have to look very hard for our own wedding photographer, I knew I wanted Ivy.
On the day of our wedding, Ivy was as professional as I remembered. She has a very take charge attitude that is still light-​hearted and fun. My husband & I both come from very large & very loud Italian families, and getting them all together and quiet is a lot like herding guido cats. But Ivy was very adept at staging a photo of our crazy families.
Every. Single. Photo came out beautifully. Candid shots, portraits, action shots, whatever, they are all gorgeous. She managed to capture so many moments of our wedding day.
I would highly recommend The Pic Chick. Her prices are the best we saw, and you get a lot of service for your money. Her attitude is a major plus, she is very good at understanding what kind of bride you are and reflecting your wedding style in her pictures.

Ivy photographed my wedding and did a phenomenal job. The pictures she took are beautiful, artisic, whimsical, and elegant. I have gotten so many complements. She really listens to your ideas, I had pictures that I had cut out from magazines that I told her I wanted and she totally recreated them with our pictures. In addition to taking beautiful photos, Ivy has a wonderful personality and made me feel so comfortable and at ease even on the day that I was the most nervous! She was professional, fun and a true joy to be around. Oh did I mention that she is also affordable too?
