Great popcorn. I live in Michigan now and came home to visit. I purchased the Chicago style and Husker mix for my office. They devoured it and wanted more. Got so many compliments. The prices are reasonable especially for how much you get at least for the large bags I purchased. Would definitely come back.

Excellent prices and quality popcorn to boot. Prices negotiable for repeat customers. Owner made customized stuff for our wedding which OTHER shops that shall remain nameless are not flexible on. Would recommend highly to others. Hard to find a business nowadays that will be flexible to your needs.

I started visiting the Popcorn Shop about a year ago, and it has been consistently excellent. The popcorn is fresh. There have been fewer old maids than I’ve been getting from other popcorn shops recently. The flavor passes muster with an old corn farmer I know. They have less variety than some shops, but there are always a few seasonal specials such as the cherry-and-vanilla Husker Mix. My favorite is the caramel corn, which has a nice, medium level of sweetness without being sticky. As with other popcorn shops, you can get anything from a popcorn ball to a tin to a huge bag. The staff is small and they love popcorn, so it feels like I’m purchasing from a friend rather than from some random kid who needed a job.

My experience with the Popcorn Shop couldn’t have been more different than the previous reviewer. We have used the Popcorn Shop on several occassions for school events. The owner, Mike, was very helpful in giving advice on how much popcorn to order. I would suggest calling a day or two ahead when placing a large order. Plus, the popcorn is great!

So anyone heard of this place caller«THEPOPCORNSHOP» at 8499 Frederick St. here in Omaha? Well if you have, don’t ever bother going there. We had a «Movie Night» at our church tonight and I wanted to bring some popcorn. Called this place about 3:00PM this afternoon, after finding them on the web. I was told their store hours were 10 – 8PM. I stopped at the business at 6:05PM and they were closed. Nothing on the door except the store hours displayed confirming they were to be open. I did not have time to stop anywhere else because I was responsible for being at the church by 6:30 so I could have things set up by 7:00. I did call the phone number and got a recorded message from«Mike» stating they were the same as the old«Vics Corn Popper» but a new name. I left a message, but that clearly did me no good for this evening. It will not do good for any other evening as it spoiled this one, I won’t give them the chance to do it again.
