TownePlace Suites Omaha West

I have zero complaints. I mean, how can you with those Marriott beds. Sigh! I wish I could take it home. My husband prefers fancier but for the price ($ 105) and amenities (free breakfast, free parking, free internet, heated pool, gym, amazing bed, kitchen in room, etc.) I think TownePlace Suites has a lot to offer. I felt that the rooms were very clean. The pool was a wonderful way to relax (well, that was before 20 preteens took over). The décor was modern. The front desk gal was very helpful. Breakfast included eggs (patty’s and boiled), sausage patty, waffles, cereal, yogurts, bagels, fruits, probably other things. I used my gps and had no trouble with the location but my hubby (who met me later) did say it was hard to find. We had plans for dinner at Fleming’s nearby and wanted to catch a movie, I also hate dealing with downtown traffic so I thought the west Omaha location was fantastic!
All in all I was impressed! Great job TownePlace!

Disgusting place to stay. Found large coffee stain in front of TV shortly after checking in, no one acknowledged it was there or tried to rectify. I pointed it out shortly after check in, see pic. Cushions on chair were visibly tattered, by either a dog or kid. Green algae on each side of steps in pool. Noticed on exit of pool AFTER my kids and I were swimming in it for 30 mins. Fought for eggs and sausage over breakfast with a team of tween girl soccer players, super loud.
Couple these items with an extremely difficult location nestled between numerous highways, and we will never stay here again.

Super clean, comfortable rooms. It was a little odd to have the closet in the kitchen, but not a big deal.
The desk design was great. The couch left some comfort to be desired, but it wasn’t horrible.
The bed was comfortable and never hurt my back.
The bathroom was clean and organized well. The door was never in the way. That may sound odd, but if you stay in different hotels like I have the past few months, you know what I’m talking about.
I tried to get breakfast the first morning. Breakfast was to be served at 6:00 a.m. I had coffee and waited. At 6:05 I had to head out. The doors from the dining area into the food service area were locked, but I snuck around the back and saw someone getting things together. She saw me and didn’t say anything about maybe opening the doors in just a minute or «almost ready». Actually, there was no acknowledgement of my presence. I quietly decided, «forget this» and headed into work. I never did try to get breakfast after that point.
I’m sure if I had more time to relax in the morning instead of needing to get to work for 7:00 a.m. meetings I would have taken the time to have some breakfast. It would have been nice. Alas…
Overall, it was a nice place to stay for four nights.

Clean, easy to find, check-​in was fast. Room is very cute, love the kitchen area. Am happy I chose this place for my stay.

I have been here since Oct 5^th 2014, it’s now mid November. The staff here is Excellent. They have addressed all my needs, expedited a service ticket on my room in a speedy manner. The free breakfast and free WiFi is perks. The on site laundry and gym is nice. However only the middle dryer works. The rest dont. Your forced to pay $ 1.25 each instead of quarter each which on a bad dryer really bites. My other complaint is I wish the pool was heated and if room service would do a full cleaning twice a week instead of one for extended stay customers.

Pretty disappointed in follow from the Jared the GM. We stayed at the TownPlace Suites in August and during that time the internet service was not working — we spoke with Jared thereafter and he committed to refund us for one night of our stay — my wife had several calls with him and repeatedly stated the refund wiould happen during the next week (sor of the like «the check is in the mail»).
As frequent guest of the Marriott brand, we expected better!!!

Great up-​to-​date and affordable hotel! Lots of power outlets, reasonably fast WiFi Internet access. Towels are thin and rough, bed is moderately comfortable, coffee is horrible. Still a good value for the price.
