Voodoo is a GREAT place to go on the weekends when you don’t feel like fighting the hoards downtown.

First and last visit here on Sunday May 31^st. The bartenders are friendly, capable and attentive but the owner used his bar as a venue for his post golf tournament party which was a huge turn off since regular patrons were edged out and treated poorly once they arrived. The pool table couldnt be played due to gag gifts displayed on it. The juke box songs (which we had already purchased yet didn’t get to listen to) were turned off for 20 min so the owner could give out said gag gifts (yawn, we would have left if we hadn’t just received fresh drinks), and there was a buffet for the golf gang which smelled great but we couldn’t partake in. Since they don’t serve food, that sucked too.
Note to owner: Next time you throw a private party in your small bar, consider closing the bar for the event instead of pissing off and alienating customers who were there before you arrived and now won’t ever be returning.
