Usually the food here is pretty good, always hot, and pretty decent customer service. They just did a reconstruction of this location and it looks really good. As most people know, their chili is one of the best tasting chili’s I’ve had eating out. I wish they would put better meat in it though, it’s strange but it tastes fine. Its flat and square so I’m assuming they use their patties? Any who. It’s really tasty and if you haven’t had it yet, I suggest you do. There’s some bell pepper, celery, hamburger, and lots of beans which are the best part imo. I love beans! The crackers they give you are really tasty too! Hubby ordered the 4 for $ 4 deal they have going on right now.(1 hamburger, 4 piece chicken nugget, small frie and small drink) and he got full off of it, granted he wasn’t very hungry in the first place, but I think it’s a great deal! I ordered a salad tonight, spicy chicken Caesar, half size. The chicken was good like usual, but they only used half a chicken tender for it. Not nearly enough for me, if I ordered this again I would ask for extra chicken. Tomatoes got tossed cuz’ I can’t stand them! The cheese they used seemed like parm but was too potent for me. The greens were great quality, no soggy stuff here. The dressing was awful. I wish I didnt cover my salad with it because it was just nasty. I will use ranch next time. I also had the Honest tropical green tea, like I usually do if I come here. It is SOOO good! Just slightly sweet, and has a very subtle fruit taste, kinda reminds me of peach? Its extremely refreshing! I also enjoy their chicken nuggets, I think they have a much better flavor and texture than most other fast food joints. I usually get these if I’m not getting chili. I’m not a fan of frostys, I find them to be extremely bland, not a big fan of their burgers either, though my hubby enjoys them. If your in the area and like Wendy’s, this location is a good one. I’ve never had anything wrong with our orders, its clean and easy to get to, and I’ve only had like two grumpy employees.(:

Just completed a major remodel of this location. The staff is nice and friendly, and they actually sat hello and talk rather than just naming a price and holding their hand out demanding payment like so many other places. Only downside is they either forget silverware for my baked potato or no napkins. Glad I carry extras in the truck just for instances like this. Glad they have the Coke Freestyle here as well.

I’ve shied away from Wendy’s recently because the burgers just weren’t very good lately. I’m not sure if it was just this particular location or all Wendy’s but they just weren’t as tasty as they used to be. After reading that they recently made changes to their burgers, I decided to give it another try. The changes include thicker patties, extra cheese, crinkled pickles, red onions, no mustard, and a buttered bun. The first noticeable change was that the burger was served half wrapped in a tray with half of the burger exposed. It’s designed so that you can pick it up out of the tray and eat it without having to unrwap it. The burger looked slightly larger and the extra slice of cheese was nice. I have to admit that the burger was better than it has been recently. It may be comparable to what it was. The biggest difference I noticed was the bun. It tasted pretty good and it was pretty sturdy which I like. I’m still not a big fan of their new sea salt fries but the revamped burger now called Dave’s Hot N’ Juicy will get back me there a little more often. While the new burger is better McDonald’s and Burger King, I still prefer Culver’s, Runza, and Smashburger. Give it a try and see what you think.
