Updated equipment. Great classes. Friendliest members and staff ever. You will feel at home here whether you are a gym rat or a first timer!

I go here for the classes, and generally it is a great deal. Make sure to try anything taught by Dan and/or Rowan. My only complaint is there are no classes on Sundays.

Was in town for the day, staying at the Doubletree at 16th and Dodge. Called the Y and asked about the cost for a one day walk-in rate and was quoted $ 12 and to bring an ID. Not bad so I walked over and the lady at the counter gave me the senior rate of $ 2. Not bad at all. I only used the weight facilities except for the rower(as a warm up). A really nicely appointed weight facility. They even had an Oly platform and bumper plates to do cleans and snatches. I could even drop the weights and no one glared at me. My only gripe was the rowers. They used an off brand rower by Matrix(I think) instead of Concept 2 rowers. There is no comparison. I would have stayed longer and gotten a rowing workout as well if they had had a Concept. Otherwise, nice place, nice people and good equipment.

You can park in the back at night otherwise street parking. Big location with a lot of classes. I’d give it more stars but the few times I’ve gone to this location I asked where a certain class room was and the staff were like«up the stairs…» If you don’t even know where the stairs are is it likely you’ll know where in the upstairs maze a particular room is?
