This has to be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are huge. The bed and linens were brand new and felt like sleeping in heaven. Their breakfast was free and to die for. I will stay here every time I come to barter fair. Thank you.

Not a bad deal at all… While when I was booking, I felt like it was a tad over priced for where I was going, I was happy to arrive and find a friendly staff, clean rooms(although at a hotel, shouldn’t we always find clean rooms?!) and some good facilities. My only real complaint is about the microwave in the room… it took 10 minutes to microwave a pizza I purchased in the lobby when the box said 3 minutes. After the 10 minutes(3 minutes to start and kept adding minutes because the center was still frozen) the edges were burned and hard but the middle was barely cooked. So if they were going to improve anything, I would say PLEASE replace those microwaves. I didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel because I brought my protein shakes and such with me but people I was with were happy with the results so YAY for that. All in all, happy with my 2 night stay in Omak at this hotel. Bed was soft, which was much needed after the soreness of walking around with a still healing broken fibula all day at camp.

My wife and I ended up staying here when some other plans(Canada decided they didn’t want us) fell through. As it was late at night and there weren’t a lot of options, I didn’t know what to expect. I was VERY pleasantly surprised! I’ve interacted with half a dozen of the staff during our stay here and everyone is so amazingly friendly and helpful. They just remodeled and did a fantastic job. The rooms are clean, the beds very comfortable, great breakfast in the morning, and, again, the staff excellent. The price is what it should be, not too much, not a bargain. I would absolutely stay here again if I was travelling through Omak(though, I’m not sure when/why that would happen!). At any rate, if you’re looking for a hotel in this general area I wholeheartedly recommend.

The hotel itself is in the 4 – 5 stars range. This is a nice newer property and whoever decorated it did a very nice job. The room I stayed in was very clean and comfortable in a nice calming color scheme with a comfortable bed and hot shower. I also enjoyed the fact that I could walk to a couple of fast food joints, or a Safeway, or a Rite Aid if I was so inclined and needed anything. The young man who checked me in was super and when he asked me about a Rewards number I mentioned that I was not signed up with Best Western. He very efficiently took my info and printed a temp card for me. Great. All good so far. Then when he asked me about room choice and if I had a preference, I mentioned that I prefer top floor, but generally for one night, I’m not too picky. Next to him was a female employee who was talking to another guest at the time, and right at the moment he was talking about moving me to the top floor, she swept on over and was all over my reservation and extremely concerned about which rate code my room was booked under. She said, «We don’t have many choices at that rate code.» Well, having worked in a hotel before, I know there are rate codes. I also know that the guest’s comfort is kind of important too. I am required to book my reservations through a corporate site. I am at the mercy of the choices that site gives me, and then how it interprets that reservation to the hotel itself. I think what annoyed me the most was that she was completely inflexible. No offer of a different room at all, even for a different rate. Maybe that would have really messed up her codes. When I politely said that I’m willing to wait for a top floor room to be cleaned, she again brought up the rate codes and said I didn’t have any choices. OK. I can see that those rate codes are extremely important to her. Maybe she’s been reprimanded for not following rate codes before. Maybe her rate codes didn’t correlate at the end of the month. I dunno. I surrendered and just said it’s only one night, no big deal. It can be kind of a big deal if you get stuck in room 101 like I did. You will have vehicles, including motorcycles, parked right outside your window, coming and going at all hours. You will also be right beside the exit door, which doesn’t slam, but thumps repeatedly at all hours. So there you go. I got pretty good at identifying a Harley vs. a Honda vs. a diesel pickup vs. a Toyota Camry and all its incessant beeps. Not much sleep that night, but I sure hope her rate codes worked out for her. The rate I paid was $ 116.99.

The stay was short, but great! Nice, clean hotel with friendly front desk staff. The reason I feel so compelled to write a review(for 4 stars none the less) is what happened AFTER my stay. 5 days after to be exact. Once our trip was over I realized I had left something of substantial value in my room. I called the hotel and sure enough, they had it and immediately offered to ship it to me in Portland! They were just so friendly and helpful and shipped it out that same day. That is the kind of customer service that deserves to be recognized and rated with a bunch of stars. Thank guys :-)

Best pillows EVER! I travel constantly for work and this place is one of my favorites. The people are always nice and super accommodating. Things are clean. And while all that is great, the pillows are still the best part.
