YMCA-Lacrosse Area Family

This YMCA branch is amazing. It is newly built, and totally beautiful. They are extremely handicap accessible, and have a variety of programs that cater to children with different needs and abilities, including swimming programs. They have newly designed baseball fields that are not grass based, but instead a hard surface, so people in a wheelchair can play on it. It is great the amount of things they have adapted to cater to everyone, not just those who are fully able to do everything.
The workout facility is beautiful, there is lots of cardio equipment, weights, and circuit training. They even have a spinning room where movies are playing that you can watch while you bike. A beautiful track surrounds the whole area where you can walk, run, or jog. They also have a large lap pool, and a pool with slides for those looking for more fun. The staff was very friendly, and they all seemed to be happy and personable.
I do not live anywhere near this YMCA so there is little chance I will be back, but I would definitely recommend it to residents of Onalaska!
