Absolutely horrible! They charge the rest of the world $ 29.99 a month for basic cable, yet they charge ESVA customers $ 59.99/mo. The quality of the signal is subpar at best. When you call the corporate office they will tell you they will honor the $ 29.99 price and give free installation, only to send you a bill for the full $ 59.99 plus install charges. They refuse to upgrade their infrastructure to allow internet and telephone services enjoyed by customers in other areas to be provided. In other words, they are perfectly content ripping off the people who live on the Eastern Shore of Virginia with their horrible cable only service that is carried on antiquated analog lines. Everything about them is horrible. I cancelled my service less than a week after it was hooked up and they didn’t even honor their 30 day money back guarantee!

Pain in the backside to set up new service prior to arrival. The company forces you to deal with rural provider issues by physically going to the office. When you’re trying to create a seamless move from the other side of the COUNTRY(not county, but COUNTRY), this is physically impossible AND the 800÷888÷855 folks CANNOT get you in touch with anyone at the local level. ALSO, the people at the Toll Free line have no clue about the rural area, how far the existing lines run, or if the cable is planned to expand that extra half mile or not.
