Ok, I’m sorry but every time I come here there is always an issue. the steak isn’t fixed right or the potato is cold or you have to almost beg a waitress to fill up your Coke glass. and these are times when it’s been slow. however I have had a couple of good experiances. but that’s like 2 or 3 out of 10. maybe this is one of those places where you only go when they are busy to assure they have enough help to take care of you. last visit was about a year ago so maybe they’re better now. if I roll the dice and go back I’ll update my review:)

Pleasant surprise in a small town! Burgers are very good. Steak and loaded baked potato is pretty good. Staff is friendly and service is above average. Salad bar is OK if iceberg is your choice of lettuce. Best non-fast food option in town!

Best breakfast in Oneida. Only open for breakfast on weekends. The two ladies who run the breakfast are well known in the area for their culinary skills. The best biscuits in Tennessee.

Great ~ Very Affordable ~ lunch menu. My husband had a hamburger and fries. He was truly impressed with the affordability and quality of food. I tried the chicken fajita. Authentic flavors and homemade refried beans. The guacamole is fresh made from scratch and honestly the best I’ve had. We’re looking forward to trying steaks on the Hibachi Grill soon. Angie, the owner is a pleasant hostess and the waitstaff is knowledgeable and accomodating. Beautiful setting ~ all cedar walls and comfortable décor.

Saturday March 15th, Tony and I stopped for lunch… Okay, I try to be as honest as possible without being rude so here I go… Tony and I was in Oneida, TN after hiking for a few hours and we were hungry. I didn’t want to eat too much… kind of defeats the odds of all the stair climbing and hiking… and I always rule out fast food. but I keep telling myself… pack a picnic lunch… pack a picnic lunch. but today we didn’t… This little town has very little choices if not Mexican or fast food, so we found PRESTON’s…it looked okay from the outside. The inside was very large and the decorations were very nice. Everything was dark and heavy wood. Everything was southwestern décor with Animal heads, antler
