The absolute worst French manicure ever. The guy who did it actually apologized and said he’d do a better job next time as he didn’t have much experience. I had to return to the salon twice in the first half hot after I left because big chips came off the white tips on my thumbs. I arrived at 2 p. m. On a Thursday. I’d made an appointment. It was 5 p.m. When I finally got out. Within a day all the tips were chipped, and I am not rough on my nails. I was told to get a gel manicure next time. I wish I knew how to add a picture to show my fingernail and toenail disasters. My sons had given me an $ 80 gift certificate. I paid prior to completion so I had added a $ 10 tip to the $ 46 manicure/pedicure charge. Justin was the name of the young Vienamese man who did my pedicure and manicure. He was very nice, but he shouldn’t be doing manicures and pedicures. Steer clear. Three days have passed and I am ready to take all the polish off because so many nail tips have chips of white out of them. I feel bad that my sons and daughter-in-laws, who live out of the area, spent so much money trying to give me something special. There was very little leg, foot and hand massaging too. So what took so long? Lack of experience! I can’t even give this place one star, but I will just because Justin tried.

I got a gel mani and a nu pedi here. I picked white for my gel mani color(a really hard color to do) and they did a perfect clean job! The nu pedi felt so good!!! Totally recommend doing the nu pedi! The husband and wife are so nice and they have great service. I’d suggest getting an appointment since they have people coming in constantly. Nice, cute, clean nail shop. :)

An ok nail place in Oneida. One or two of the nail techs are really good, the others are really nothing special.

I’m not a big fan of feet. I never thought of them as having any kind of aesthetic value, and I’ve never taken much care of my own feet beyond washing and the occasional slapping on of nail polish in vain attempts to make them look slightly less wonky. So imagine my surprise when my ever-loving sister got me a gift certificate for a spa pedicure from Rosy Nails! Really? You want someone to TOUCH my feet? That is to say, you expect someone to touch my feet and not shrivel and die from sheet terror and disgust? Ok. I’ll give it a try. I’ll have to venture a guess that all nail salons have an immediate, in-your-face chemical smell when you open the door to enter. If so, Rosy Nails is no different. But the staff was friendly and helped me right away. And the«spa» part of the pedicure — big massage chairs with lovely blue hot tubs for your feet — were really comfy and relaxing. To her credit, the woman doing my pedicure didn’t even swoon a little when I hefted my massive, horny flappers(that were probably double the size of her own delicate feet) up for her to work on. She was incredibly pleasant(and I was incredibly apologetic) as she worked and worked to slough off the years of neglect on my poor feet. She massaged my calves. She popped my toe knuckles for me. I wanted to kiss her. Overall, the pedicure lasted about 45 minutes. It was well worth the price my sister paid for it. And when it was all over, my feet looked kind of, well… pretty? Yes. Pretty. Two weeks later the paint job on my toes was still going strong, and my feet still looked amazingly better. Thank you, ever-loving sister!
