The food here is by far the best in town. Pricing is decent, but it just seemed that service was a tad slow. Other than that the food is outstanding. I will recommend this place to others.

Tried this place on several occasions and sadly they have bombed every time. We ordered an Appetizer and a main dish and Sushi special. My husband’s Pad Thai came out first, then 15 mins later the Sushi Special, followed by the Appetizer 45 mins after everything else came. There was one other family there, the place was not busy at all. This can all be forgiven but our waitress was rude and our waitress(who handles food) cleaned the bathroom and came to our table wearing gloves used for cleaning with our appetizer. My husband almost gagged. This place is not worth another visit we tried but THEYFAILED!

This restaurant features mainly Chinese and Japanese food, followed by a nice selection of Thai, Indian, and Vietnamese dishes. I went with the Thai Drunken Fish. It had a great presentation and tasted delicious. The wife had a Pineapple Curry dish that she liked but did not love. I started out with an Unagi sushi appetizer that was okay but a little off. The restaurant is huge so it is good for bigger groups. It was slow when we went and it felt a bit cold. The décor is pretty and done well. I would recommend this restaurant for the variety it offers– great for groups with different tastes.

After searching Unilocal for a good place to eat, I came across this place. Went in on a Tuesday night. Place was empty. Waiter seats us, drops 2 menus on the table for my girlfriend & me & disappears. Few minutes later he asked in such a low voice if we wanted to start with drinks. I got a beer n my GF ordered a Mai Tai & we also placed appetizer orders. My GF almost done with her drink notices 3 to 5 fruit flies in her drink. Manager apologizes n offers to make her another one. Comes back with the drink n fruit flies in that one too. My GF was ready to throw up cuss of thinking about that being in her drinks n possibly eating some of those flies. DISGUSTING. Manager begins telling me that the flies possibly got into the brandy. And i didn’t disagree with him but there was a fruit fly in the ice. Frozen inside an ice cube was a fruit fly. So it isn’t just in the brandy, they’re in the Effing ice too. Manager tells us he isnt charging us for the 2 mixed drinks n he’d take 20% off the bill. And we had ordered entrees as well. I told him take the food back & he was really pissing me off by insinuating we were trying to get outta paying our bill. After being fed flies why the HELL would i want to eat anything. After feeling sick seeing the cleanliness why the HELL would I eat anything outta this place. We took our entrees home, i got the fillet mignon & lobster which the chopped up fatty meat was NOT filet mignon. Sorry I’m not stupid. I never saw filet mignon with chunks of fat & the lobster, i swear on everything holy tasted like leather n was dry n rubbery. Totally DISGUSTING. My GF got the pad thai. Even more DISGUSTING. Oooh & i had gotten a miso soup. The manager must think my Japanese gf & I must be idiots cuss he actually spent more time explaining why miso soup was served COLD rather then apologizing & warming the soup up. Flavor of the soup was NASTY. Manager should’ve apologized n kept all the crap that came outta that garbage dump. But instead of starting anything I was the better man paid the bill n VOW to never go back to this NASTY, DIRTYUNPROFESSIONALPOOPHOLE. NEVERAGAIN. SAVEYOURMONEY. DON’T WASTEYOURMONEYORYOURTIMEONPOSSIBLYGETTINGSICK. Just disgusting. 1 star cuss the décor isnt bad. Thats the only plus to this place. I have pictures of the fruit flies in both drinks as well as the fruit fly frozen in the ice. NASTY…

A must try at this place are the edamame(lol) and the cheese wontons! So good. The Thai ice tea is good also. BUT the rice what horrible! I ordered fried Thai rice, horrible! It tasted really weird, like it was cooked in bad oil. So no rice!

One of my favorite restaurants in Oneonta. With a wide variety menu, they have nailed everything I have tried. Their sushi is especially good. Can’t wait to bring my family!

We arrived around 5:40 and there was only one other table being served. It took over 30 minutes to obtain our food. In addition, the brown rice that comes with my dish could fit in the palm of my hand. Why are they so frugal with rice? The chicken and broccoli were tasty.

The sushi here is fantastic and they have one of the best California rolls I’ve ever had!

After having had lunch and 2 dinners this restaurant is the best in the Oneonta area. The scallops and shrimp cooked to perfection. Orange beef and coconut fried rice are excellent. Every time we have had an enjoyable meal. The seafood casserole is incredible also. Will definitely recommend and come back again. The only negative is slow service.

We stopped off the road at Asian Tentations for linch. Keene had a tasty asian salad with a delicious dressing. She followed it wirh good sesame chicken. I had a medium hot shrimp green curry wirh vegetables. Just right for lunch with enough left over for super. Convenient to I-88 as you pass Oneonta. Surprisingly good food for central NY

Worst Service ever! We made reservations a week in advance for a table of 6. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday. A few of us arrived early, so we sat at the bar to have a drink. We were there for 20 minutes before anyone even stepped behind the bar to ask us what we wanted to drink. After the rest of our party arrived, we told them we were ready to be seated. Our reservation was for 7pm. We didn’t get seated at a table until 7:27. They were not busy by any means. After sitting down we ordered more drinks. It was another 30 minutes before we all had drinks. We all ordered either soup, salad or apps. Everyone else had their soup and salads and I still hadn’t received my calamari. Did I mention the miso soup was cold? I waited. After another long wait, dinners began to arrive. I told the waiter that I still had not received my app. He responded, «oh, it’s ready, I will go get it.» This calamari had to have been sitting in the kitchen for a half hour. It was ice cold, and hard as a rock. Four of us ordered sushi and sashimi. This was the ONLY redeemable thing about our dinner. The sushi was good. I had a friend order Lo mein, which he sent back after one bite. Another person in our party ordered General Zho’s. It was also sent back. Horrible. Needless to say we will not be returning. I have never written a Unilocal review before tonight, but after what we went through, I want to save others from wasting their money by visiting this joint. If you are craving Asian cuisine, head down the street to Mt. Fugi. We go there regularly. Great service and food.

Since I’m half Chinese, I’m pretty fussy about Asian food, and not impressed with what passes as Chinese food in this area. We shared an appetizer platter with shu mei, pork dumplings and spring rolls, all very good. My husband got the hot and sour soup which came in a large bowl, was spicier than the usual fare [which he liked]. Our entrees were cashew chicken which had lots of mushrooms, cashews, chicken and was very tasty, and chicken lo mein which was very good, although would have liked a few more vegetables. A very good meal, good service, nice ambiance, and we’ll be coming back again.

Very nice dining experience. Still retains a bit of the former Italian restaurant’s décor, and they cover an awfully wide range of Asian specialties — which can be a LOT to sift through. But the sushi I ordered was perfect, and the dishes ordered by those at my table looked delicious.

I must say I was a bit skeptical upon my arrival due to the lack of traffic in the resturant but the food really speaks for itself. The appetizer consisted of calamari, which had a delicious sweet sauce on the side. The entrees included crispy duck and lo mein with chicken vegetables and the flavors were very unexpected. So good. My only issue was the lo mein was loaded with onions which I wasn’t a fan of. Overall, it was a great dinner ! I would for sure recommend.

Tempted, lured, satisfied. Awesome décor and ambiance — good, fast service — healthy, tasty dishes — great prices — easy access. Good job, Oneonta. Now repeat ten times and you’ll be on to something.

Not often do I take the time to write a review on food in our small area of oneonta, but I have to comment on the food I ate tonight. The Asian mixed menu presents a lot of different options from the continent of Asia. the flavor of the food is amazing. very fresh very well prepared everything was made from scratch and it showed. I highly recommend anyone in the area to eat here and enjoy some authentic Asian delicacy.

Good quick takeout. Veggies still had a crunch to them which is always nice! Well seasoned(lots of flavor) but rather salty. Friendly staff, decent prices, and good about substitutions/changes.
