Staff was a little too Stepford Wife’s for me. Food was good. Room was eclectic.

Not serving someone because they are gay is disgusting. If you support this establishment, you support ignorance and bigotry.

This place is great. Always had a few good options on the menu. Veggie burger, and chili, off the top of my head were always amazing. Wasn’t as into some of the other sandwiches, but overall, a nice and interesting place.

The gang at work was placing an order at the Yellow Deli a couple of days ago, so I decided to try the Creamy Butternut Squash Soup. I wish I could find a description of the soup, so I could tell you exactly what was in it. It was soooo incredibly good. I would go as far to say that it was the best soup I have ever had. I ordered a cup and it was plenty for lunch. It came with a piece of buttered bread(I don’t know what kind of bread it was, but seemed like some sort of homemade artisan). It was excellent and the perfect accompaniment with the soup. I am including a photo(I forgot to snap the pic before I started eating, but you’ll get the idea). Definitely give it a try. Especially on these chilly fall days.

Great food! Amazing sandwiches! Long Island rancher is my favorite! Service is a little slow but it’s worth the wait!

The overall ambience of this place is super cute and hip. The food my friends got was pretty delicious but I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was SWIMMING in ranch. Could easily be better with a quarter the amount of ranch… And that’s coming from a guy who loves ranch. Cute place though, and the people were SUPER nice. good find.

The owners of The Yellow Deli are very kind and welcoming people and it’s very clear that they put a lot of work and effort in running the place. It was a lovely experience eating there. I’m glad I didn’t look up the Yellow Deli People(aka The Twelve Tribes Community) online before popping into this place because it sounds a little too«out there» or cult-ish for me and that would have prevented me from dining there which would have been a real shame. Firstly, the atmosphere is amazing. The place is spotlessly clean and the woodwork is just beautiful. It’s like walking into a fairytale cottage. The foods they make are hearty and fresh and their breads are fantastic(their baker really knows what he’s doing). The people in my party ordered the veggie burger, Reuben sandwich, lentil soup, Volkswich sandwich, sweet potato pound cake(incredible!) and the cream cheese pie with strawberries. All the food was very very good. Even days later we were commenting on how much we enjoyed everything. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. You won’t be sorry.

I’ve been going here for years now and it’s my favorite place. No Ones food can compare! The people are very friendly and always welcoming. When people comment about their religion and how they dress it’s very ignorant. This is a restaurant and the reviews should be based off of the service and food! Amazing

Great friendly service. The Volkswich sandwich was amazing and ideal for a rainy day warmed to perfection with melting cheese. Cool décor with wood finishing like a cabin inside.

Great little gem in the middle of nowhere with delicious homemade food! All in our party were extremely satisfied with their dishes. I had the cinnamon rolls(best I ever had) and the waffle, also very good! This is a must try!

What a charming and delicious experience. Had a quick lunch in their downstairs dining room– which could double as a Hobbit dwelling. Adorable tree house motif! Great selection of tea and lunch items. I’ll be returning upon my next opportunity.

Delicious food in an authentic setting, definitely a one of a kind dining experience. The service is extremely slow, so if you are in a rush I recommend going to another place.

Great food and the staff are the friendliest people I’ve ever met! Try the chili, it’s really good. The interior is beautiful and the walls are filled with hand painted murals. Don’t let the cult comments turn you off, I’ve been going since they opened and never once have I been approached to join anything.

Had lunch with our daughter who goes to Oneonta. Very cozy place but the service was ridiculously slow and border line idiotic. Food is fresh but nothing spectacular. Will not be coming back. Red Caboose is way better.

This place is amazing! The food is great and tastes really fresh, people are very nice, atmosphere gets a 10+. If you are around the oneonta area and don’t eat here it’s a mistake!!! On a bad day I could come here and have their mate tea and a veggie burger and it makes the whole day better :)

An absolute jewel in the middle of «nowhere». As a skier we often head to Killington from our home base in Philly. Our trips usually end with a final shortened day of skiing and 6+ hour drive home. We’re usually hunger, thirsty and cold. While driving down the main highway our options for decent food looked sparse. We decided to drive into downtown Oneonta — just off the main road, and spotted this bright yellow sign just around the corner from the main light. When you walk in, you’re immediately presented with a décor that’s beyond anything you could imagine. Incredible ceiling tiles, real natural wood railings, seats carved into real tree trunks and wonderfully homey fireplaces. The staff was also extremely friendly and willing to please. The menu was loaded with exceptional items that made our mouths water. We’re near-vegetarians so it was great to see several items on the menu that fit the bill. I had a veggie burger and a creamy potato soup. Both were out of this world. Every member of our group of four loved their different meals. Their drinks are also extremely diverse and just as good as the rest of their fare. This is a place I wish I lived closer to. As it is, it will now be a permanent stop on our trips up from here on out.
