The Bob Cooper Band

The Bob Cooper band just played my sister’s wedding this weekend in the Finger Lakes. What a blast!!!
They were phenomenal musicians and, when there was a mix-​up about how late they were going to stay, we were able to work it out and they stayed an extra hour with nothing more than a few seconds conversation (during a song no less!!).
They have a list of songs on their website that they know and it is extensive! If you have a song you really want played that isn’t on the list they’re more than willing to learn it for you.
The wedding was at the Belhurst, and Bob Cooper Band has played there many times before and works very well with Carmen, the wedding coordinator there. They had the wedding party introductions, cake cutting, etc perfectly planned and the whole night went off perfectly in my opinion.
The only reason I deduct one star is because after mentioning it to my boyfriend, he said he thought they weren’t good «entertainers». He was referring to the fact that only the family was up and dancing on the floor while all the bride/groom’s friends (mid to late 20s) were on the patio outside. He thought a good entertainer should be able to keep everyone in the room entertained and happy. I think the beautiful full moon, elegant lake views, and romantic atmosphere outside might have had more to do with this than the band though. I’d highly recommend them!
(side note, I talked to Bob while they were packing up and this is just his weekend job! hes an engineer during the week!)
