Chaffey High School

Horrible, horrible school! I used to attend here and I hated it, no offense to the many people in my family who graduated from here. Many of the teachers are very rude and incompetent, particularly Mrs. Jones in the chemistry department. Even in the honors classes, the teachers would talk down to students like they were juvenile delinquents.
There were only a few exceptions, notably Mrs. Hollace Brayer, she teaches Honors English 2. Her class was what made me decide I want to be an English major when I go to college! Additionally, Mrs. Michelle Pruett in sophomore AVID was amazing as well.
This school is grossly overcrowded, with many class sizes approaching 40+ students, and tutoring was impossible to get. While I love to learn, this school was killing the joy of academics for me.
Fortunately, I switched to our district’s online high school, which is so much better and allows me to pursue what I am passionate about, including taking classes at the local college during the day.
I would highly recommend that both parents and students alike avoid this school and look elsewhere for an enriching and fulfilling learning experience.

This school has a nice campus. Very old school. The school it’s self is located in a pretty good neighborhood.
