These are the donuts that I judge every other donut shop against. Dough is fresh and soft in ways that make these donuts very dangerous. I work across the street from this place and visit at least once a week.
Definitely not your average donut.

There’s much more room for this place to do big things. I slid in just before closing so maybe not the freshest time to grab donuts, but the thirst for snacks was real!
The ice cream selects were interesting. I went with the black walnut. Phenomenal. Wow. Really good. I was shocked to get something this good this close to the casa. Only fail was they don’t give samples. I take it they must make their cream batch by batch on the daily.
The maple donut made me realize I need to eat more of them and that they should be on my personal food pyramid. It was fresh and the icing came through. It also made for good dipping with ice cream. I had some high hopes for the red velvet cake donut. They were quickly crushed after the first bite. Awful. Dry, like Mojave desert dry. Had to also remember that they were probably made earlier in the morning. Either way I’ll have to come try them when they’re fresh.
