King Sushi

Sushi was great and the place was nice. I ordered salmon roll and it was really good, just plain. We also ordered the dynamite roll and that was hundred times better than the salmon roll because it had a lot more flavor/​sauces.
Most importantly, the service was amazing. The people were amazingly friendly and they were very fun to talk to. Will come again!

Came here looking for a good teriyaki chicken bento box got who knows what! Also ordered a California roll since their bento doesn’t come with it and let me tell you! More like a Tijuana roll! Maybe they were having a bad day!

The white rice on the sushi taste stale ;(baked salmon roll was really mushy. Nice staff though, good service, clean environment

When we arrived on a Saturday night around 6 pm it was empty! We were worried but figured we would give it a try. Slowly people started to trickle in. The service was great… the servers were very attentive and friendly. We ordered hand rolls and cut rolls. The sushi was great. Pricing was reasonable. We would definitely come again!

Went this evening because of all the good reviews. Not what i expected. Will not be returning. Their Hot night roll was good. Ordered Teriyaki chicken bento box for my daughter. Chicken was good tasting at all… Did not complain but we did not eat the chicken. Or miso soup. Different from what were use to.

Great little place. We arrived right after opening, so we were the only customers in the restaurant. We were an hour early for the lunch special but the nice waitresses gave us the special anyway. Food was on point as was the service.

My boyfriend and I were in the Ontario area and we decided to find a nice sushi joint for lunch. King Sushi was the first to pop up, and had the best reviews. Unilocal can usually be trusted with reviews, so we made our way over to try this fabulous location that everyone seemed to enjoy.
We were quickly greeted and seated, and shortly after our orders were taken. After that, there was almost nonexistent service. Two tables who arrived after us were seated and finished their meals before we received our first round of AYCE sushi. There were only about 6 parties in the location at the time, so it’s not like they were juggling a rush hour capacity. When we finally received our food, we got our cut rolls first (we had also ordered 2 hand rolls and 8 pieces of sashimi). Those didn’t arrive till 10 minutes after, which seemed strange since those are the ones that require the least amount of work.
The food quality was passable at best. The rice was inconsistently cooked and the fish lacked overall flavor. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was the ginger. The pickling was fine but the ginger was tough, almost to the point where it was inedible. The best service we got was when we left and everyone said goodbye. I do NOT recommend this location.

We had a fantastic meal at King Sushi! I wish we could remember the names of all the different rolls but I don’t so you will just have to take my word that everything was great! Also had wonderful service provided by mama!

I love Kings sushi make sure to get their salmon or they’re crunchy roll there since Eel is excellent as well they have great service very friendly and quick prices are excellent as well make sure to come in during happy hour. I will come back

Service was beyond perfect! Sushi was fresh and delicious. I would absolutely recommend this place for sushi! We had a early valentines dinner. It was just scrumptious! Definitely going back.

This place is great! The sushi was tasty! We ordered the Crawfish Roll, Philadelphia Roll and a baked Salmon Roll. All delicious! the best part was the staff Mama was awesome. Very nice and sweet. We will definitely be back! Thank you mama for the fun experience!

Delicious sushi and great service! Our waitress Kelly was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be eating here again soon and would recommend if you are in the area.

Soft shell crab appetizer
Shrimp tempura roll
Two spicy tuna hand rolls
California roll.

Food tastes good and is fresh other than the softshell crab I ordered which was so small and over fried, I felt like I was just eating fried batter. I do not recommend that appetizer. It was 8 $ I would not pay 1 $for it.
Negatives:
Food was way over priced for what you get.
Rolls were very small with hardly any food in them.
They only give you a dime size amount of Wasabi
You get about 5 strips of ginger
No all you can eat menu
I would only go back for the handrolls and during lunch time… I don’t recommend this place… and it’s too bad because the staff is really nice.
I liked this place way better when it was Yougen Sushi.

Food was not on point this visit. Too much sesame seed oil over powered the dish. They didn’t remember to bring us beverages until we asked when our entrees came out after appetizers. Crunch rolls hardly had crab meat. Servers were careless. Bummer.

Sushi chef Craig was amazing! Excellent customer service. Explained everything while making my sushi rolls. Friendly and knowledgeable… Sushi was ok, wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but bottom-​line, It did hit the spot.

I went to this location on January 4, 2016. The staff is SOOOO friendly and nice. The sushi chef made small talk. He actually had me laughing with some of the things he was saying. The waitress was very nice as well. I have gone to other sushi establishments and the individuals do NOT make you feel welcomed. The vibe was so much different and better here. I had the tiger roll and another roll. My date had *drum roll please* 7 or 8 rolls. I lost count. He is a professional bodybuilder though, but still. He had me amazed. The chef wasn’t bothered that he had to modify the rolls for him either. (no sauce/​no rice) He loved each roll he got as well, which is saying something about this place because he is a big sushi eater.
I will definitely be back here soon!

They play it really safe here… California roll is almost the bottom to every roll… The eel had little to no flavor and was cold within 10 mins, not even Luke warm… The crawfish roll was no where near as good as Niko Niko for sure… The tempura roll was decent to say the least.

Lets start off by saying this is NOT Yugen Sushi!
This is NOT a ½ price sushi menu or «Happy Hour» place. Its a Sushi Restaurant. It is not cheap yet not too expensive. I had the spicy tuna on top of a California roll. The tuna was extremely fresh and creamy. It had a good kick to it but was tempered down by the «special sauce» I also had the Albacore la carte. Light garlic sauce. Albacore was perfect melt in your mouth fresh.
The only bad thing is I asked for a iced tea to go, kinda got a little grief from Mama. She did give in. I take it that means there are no refills? if so that’s a problem. Not sure about that policy.
They are working on their liquor license migh take a couple of months (thanks to the city of Ontario)
Service was outstanding you put your plate down and they will zip it away. Go getem KING Sushi time to make people forget about Yugen Sushi.

I came across this place when I was dropping off my sister in law at the airport. At the time we got there it was pretty lonely. The place was pretty clean and the lady waitress Mama was really friendly and welcoming.
The food was good, we ordered the Lunch Boxes and you can’t go wrong with those.
I’d come back again if I found myself in the area.
