I’ve been here a handful of times with a friend who loves their menudo. The first time, I was pregnant and thought it was really good! The second time i came here, i wasn’t pregnant and their menudo was ok. Lacked some seasoning but not the worst I’ve had. I hadn’t gone back for about a year and made my way back there for breakfast one morning with my boyfriend. I ordered the chilaquiles. They had a nice Chile spice to it. Not the best I’ve had, but they were good. My boyfriend ordered the eggs con papa and bacon. Wasn’t expecting what they brought to him… scrambled eggs on the over cooked side, bacon which was good and FRENCHFRIES for papas It was weird, i was expecting potatoes like squared potatoes not French fries. They were good but just a little weird to eat with a tortilla! I probably won’t be back here.

Wow! This was my first time her and i was impressed. Chips and salsa had a great taste. I had the chilaquiles and it was amazing! It was very flavorable and they are priced well and portioned perfectly. Great service and we’ll definitely be back soon!

Got menudo, asada taco, cheese and chicken enchiladas, rice and beans. Everything was good. We sat ourselves but someone called the server out. Service was good, she was nice and helpful. It was our first time, the experience was a good one. Chips and salsa was good. Nothing tasted old, cold, or stale.

Ok ladies and gents this restaurant here is not the best but it can have more potential. It’s a good looking restaurant in and out. It’s acceptably clean and the people are nice and my waitress was good at serving and taking my order. Unfortunately the food and beverage was disappointing. For being a Mexican owned restaurant it should live to its Mexican origins. I ordered seviche and I didn’t get seviche. I got vegetables soaked in a weird tomato juice and it barely had any fish in it. Absolutely no taste of lemon. Everybody knows seviche is cured fish in lemon juice with its proper vegetables. So that was a fail. Next I ordered a michelada. That was a fail also. I didn’t even want to finish it. And I always finish my micheladas. I’m a big fan of micheladas and this restaurant did not have the knowledge of a good michelada. I haven’t tried anything else but for my first visit I don’t think I will come back to be disappointed again.

I love this place. The food is good and the are generous with there servings! The price is well worth what you get and the people that work there are very friendly and helpful. I’ve dined in a few time and called orders in for pick up and all experiences were great! My parents and I use to come here when I was just a little person. I remember being bad and getting spanked in the bathroom by my mom. I was very happy to have a place to go that reminded me of my mom since she passed away last year. Even though the memory was a spanking i still appreciate it lol Great place to eat! and if you gotta spank your kids in the bathroom, then at least it will be a nice clean bathroom!

Amazing my friends know it as my chicken taco place. A must try for anybody looking for great Mexican food at a great price without the crowd and noise. You can sit down have a great conversation and a great meal without all the chain restaurant drama. Great for a date or anniversary

I ate here early on a Sunday morning while waiting for my son’s hockey game to begin at nearby Ontario Ice Arena. Los Amigos is walking distance from the ice rink. I ordered a single asada taco and water. The place seemed clean, but the health rating posted in the window was a B. The taco was good, but nothing special. It was a typical street taco, but it had only one corn tortilla instead of two. It made it so it fell apart as I ate. What impressed me most about Los Amigos was the steady stream of Spanish speaking patrons that arrived with large soup pots brought from home. They were purchasing menudo and pozole to take home. This tells me the locals like the place.

I have lived in ontario for 24 years and finally tried this place after all these years and the food was awful!!! Service ok but the food was already cooked and reheated not fresh . There chips and salsa ok but the shrimp were disgusting, beans cold. Ordered guacamole and never got it. Will not go back ever!

Place and price were pretty good. I got the shredded beef tacos and my fiancé had the fish mojara and tostada de camaron. It’s a family ran business and food was authentic.

FANTASTICFOODANDSERVICE! I used Los Amigos to cater for my event/party. They were very very dependable and professional. Not only was the service outstanding the food was FANTASTIC. They delivered the food hot and ready to serve. The price was affordable. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any event or even just for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This company gets all 5 stars I just wish I could give them more stars. I would defently to use them again.

Been coming here for years. Since I was a kid. And they have always had great food and customer service. I recently came here after a few months and everything is different. The people the menu even the taste in food. We had the menudo and it was way better then zendejas, but lacking in some tase. I had to add alot of salt to make up for taste. Also never got a refill on our sodas. And their home made tortillas were not homemade. I was a little disappointed. Maybe it was just a bad day

We arrived at Los Amigos around 9:30pm, about 30 minutes before they were closing. When we arrived, there was just one other family eating at a neighboring table. The waiter started us with chips and salsa. The chips were underwhelming, sadly. Out of a bag? I’m not sure. The salsa, however, was decent. My dining partner requested an order of the guacamole to go with the chips. It was awful. We spent about three minutes having to dump salt and salsa in it to give it some flavor and make it salvageable. For my entrée, I opted for the chicken burrito. It was actually fairly good, the most enjoyable part of the experience for me. The accompanying rice and beans were also nice, but I wish they had given me a larger serving of them. Living in San Diego makes me a snob when it comes to Mexican fare, and Los Amigos didn’t provide us the best representation of the cuisine. However, it served its purpose for the evening. Tip: Park in the front if you can score street parking. The back parking lot is a little scary(bring mace).

it was ok. the guacamole seemed like it was just mashed avocado the salsa was good the chips were good but a little greasy i had the platter with chile relleno, enchilada, and taco. also pretty good but the rice and beans were a little bland and the beans seemed overly greasy.

If you are in the area its a must try. Very authentic Mexican food. There menu is not available online… until now. They gave me a copy of the menu and I scanned it. They also have items that they only sell during Fridays(and Ash Wednesday) in the Lenten Season and I’ve included them on here too. :)

My two brothers and I stopped in here while attending the Route66 Crusin Reunion. The food and service were excellent and the chips and salsa were plentiful!
