Best Jericallas I’ve had. I had originally gone for a raspado. I got a cajeta with coco although it didn’t look very appetizing it was delicious. The rempope raspado is really good as well. I ended up trying a Jericalla and I ended up purchasing 4. They are the best a must try

To me, a raspado is coarsely shaved ice topped with liquid syrup flavoring and sometimes fruit(it’s basically the Spanish word for Snow Cone). You can eat it with a spoon or, if you want all the«good stuff» now, and to leave nothing for later, you shove a straw into that sucker, suck out all the sweetness, and are left with slightly flavored ice. Here, it’s basically tiny little round ice cubes which have been drowned in syrup and fruit(I went with strawberry). It’s basically like drinking pure flavored syrup with some ice in it. They also give you a straw that is four times bigger than a typical one. This means that one good sip and half the drink is gone. Wasn’t impressed. Being a fan of Tejuino, I HAD to try it from here. They only have one size here: LARGE. Now I can see why: if they sold only«sample sizes»(small), they’d never make money off anyone wanting to come back in for a bigger size. The Tejuino here is NOT something I’m used to. I’ve had different variations of this drink, which already requires an acquired taste to enjoy. This was perhaps the WORST rendition of this drink I’ve ever had. Way too many clove-like notes in the aftertaste. [If you want to try what REAL Tejuino from Mexico SHOULD taste like, see my review for«Natural Fruit Los Reyes”/“Rico Tejuino Los Reyes» here on Unilocal].

It was our first time here. We got the Piña Loca! It was absolutely refreshing on a hot day or any day for that matter. It had a good blend of pineapple, watermelon, mango, hicama, cucumber, peanuts and chamoy. Delicious! We also tried the nuez raspado, also raspado. The owner and his daughter were really friendly. They even gave us a sample of the fresasa con crema that were delicious!

When they say they’re open, but they’re actually closed. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

First time coming here waited about 20min to take my order then waited about half an hour to get my order. This is a ridiculous wait time since the place was empty to begin with. There was a couple is front of us n they were waiting long before us. To say the least not coming back here again!

I came in again to get a bionico and was very displeased. First of all, when I came in the lady was working on another order and walked right past me and did not even acknowledge my presence. Then I saw her attempting to fix the man’s order. She was coughing up a storm all over the place, including into her hands, and she just poured the contents of the cup into the other cup and continued to make the rest of his order without washing her hands. I walked out and will not be returning.

This place deserves a big 0, i went in today to buy a diablito and fresas con leche, and this place is dirty, the guy is handling cash and working in the kitchen, and the worst part is that, i found a mosquito and a hair in my diablito drink, it was disgusting! I am glad i was able to see it before i drank it. Never again am i stepping in here again, so who ever buys raspados or any thing else be careful, and look at it before eating or drinking there, i had to throw it away. That was a waist of time and money.!!

Mia’s Raspados is the only place in our neighborhood that offers Piñaloca and after giving the place a shot we realized we were going to be frequent visitors ! Not only the Piñaloca and sandialoca was spot on, having the perfect balance of seer, sour and spice but the owner was pleasantly friendly and wanted us to have a good 1st visit experience … He brought out two of his most popular items; strawberries & cream and a mangoniada… My fav of the two was the mangoniada !! I’m so happy we have this little dessert shop so close and can’t wait to try their fresh juices!
