I was hired on to fix a roof with myco I was told that I was going to be getting paid everyday I worked. Well I worked a Fri and a sat putting in 10 hours a day. I was told I was getting $ 15 dollars an hour. Once sat night came he told me I will be getting paid in full once the job was done which was suppose to be tuesday. It is now Friday and he has been ignoring my calls making up excuses and hasn’t paid me for the hard work I did.

After two years of roof repair by myco construction, Albert still could not fix the problem. When I ask for the money back, he tell me he does not have it. If you are looking for a reliable roofer please do not choose Albert, I have been very patient with Albert, and at the end he is not honor his work. And he claim he have 15 years of experience of roofing work.

I would not recommend Albert Young of Myco Construction as a contractor. I hired Albert for a complete reroof. He gave me a 10 year guarantee that it would not leak. It did. It was slow at first and I thought maybe I could fix it since I have rehabbed most of my house myself. However, after inspecting the roof(top and underside) and seeing no apparent leak spots, I decided it was time I called back the professional — after all, I had a guarantee. I told Albert about it around August 2014. He repeatedly told me he’d come out, but he promptly«forgot» about it often– other jobs were always more important to him. He has come out three separate times to look at the roof and put mastic in several areas to see if that would fix it.(A temporary fix in my mind, but I just wanted my roof to stop leaking). It didn’t. Now, in January 2015, Albert has told me that he has bought all the material to replace that whole section of my roof, but he did not show up on the day that he said he would. I keep trying to text and call him, but he does not respond. In sum, Albert is dishonest, lacks basic communication skills, and fails to uphold his guarantees. If you have the option to have someone else do any contracting work — even if they’re more expensive — I’d advise you go with them. Albert may seem nice, but he is not someone you can trust even with a signed contract.
