If you ever have a question they will answer it. They will advise the best way to achieve compliance with CARB. I needed a component replaced, they referred me to the specialist for that repair and explained why they would not be right shop for the situation. I have used them for my 2001 F350 7.3L 2007 Lexus ES350 1987 Thunderbird.

This place is amazing! I searched Unilocal for a place to get my car inspected/​fixed/​resistered, coming from Ft Bliss and (2006 Nissan 350z) getting out of the Army. They did a tremendous amount of work and fixed my car quickly, (about 5g worth of work) and runs flawless. Highly recommended, family run shop!

This place is great! My son’s car would not pass smog. I had another place look at it, who tried several fixes & still couldn’t figure out how to get the check engine light off. I took it to this place, which was recommended by a friend, & am very pleased. Kim was very pleasant to talk with & set up the appointment. Tu was very knowledgable and explained everything clearly. This is an honest and fair place… hard to come by these days. I definitely plan many more visits, when needed, in the future.

I had went to get my smog check last October and they were extremely fair and honest people it seemed. I went back a couple days ago because my clutch in my mustang went out and I really found out how great they were. They were fast and honest and my new clutch feels better then when I first bought the car. Fair pricing also.

Tu Do rules! Coolest little lady, she OWNS this place. Very straightforward but extremely friendly.
They have 2 smog check machines so it was done very quickly even though there were 2 people in front of me for smog, and multiple other vehicles behind checked and fixed. $ 50 for smog check.

I’m a little late in posting my review, but I had received excellent service here last Fall when my car had problems passing. The shop had my car done by the next day and completed all repairs like a pro (like the name says). Tu is a really good mechanic and knows what he is doing. He explains everything to you. Very trust worthy establishment and good prices, I will keep coming back.

My Family has been coming here for over 13 years because they are trustworthy people. They do smog checks but they also have the capability of repairing all general & specialty work. Great place for a smog check or a mechanic in general. Honest with prices and work. Service is friendly and when i first visited i noticed the communication between customers and owner is also good.

I must admit that before I got married, I had never taken my own car to get a smog check. Haha… benefits of a father who spoils me. It just so happened that my husband’s car was also due for a smog check. We went by a location out on Euclid first. Arrived there around 10:30am and we were told there would be 31 cars ahead of us! Wasn’t willing to wait that long. My husband called around other places and stumbled upon Pro Smog Check. This location was closer to our home and there wasn’t a wait. We got our smog checks done on both cars right away and the mechanic who performed the smog checks was very friendly and talkative with us while we waited. I think we found our smog check place!

Quick Smogs

Was hesitant to try a new place – I’ve had the same mechanic for YEARS, but I was up against a deadline and was out of town, and needed to get my smog check in before the weekend.
I called this place up to see if there was any way they could do the smog check and get me back in time – I only had my lunch hour to work with. The guy who answered assured me he could, and even had a sense of humor about it. I liked him already.
Showed up to the place… be forewarned, a little difficult to find! Mind the street number and then drive in to the parking lot. Their stall is at the very end.
Tiny place, friendly guy (his name was «Tu»)…a bit of a dry sense of humor, but engaging nonetheless. There is a vending machine for sodas (only takes dollar bills), and a couple of chairs inside. I ate my lunch and sat on a chair by a shaded area outside.
I showed up at 1230 and I was out of there by 1250… for a smog check! That included filling out the paperwork, paying, chit chat, etc. VERY IMPRESSED.
By the way, they only take cash or credit cards. NO CHECKS.
I feel like he may be hurting for customers since his location may be a bit of a handicap… so if you’re in the area and are in need of fast, reliable and affordable smog check, this place is for you!

Don’t let the name fool you: this business is an excellent repair shop as well as smog check center. I’m no car person, and used to depend on my family’s mechanic back home. After my first visit here (on referral from a trusted source) with a check engine light on, I knew I had found my new local «family» mechanic.
If you expect quality work, fair and honest prices, and just want to be confident that you’re getting the service your car needs and not a sales pitch, come see Tu (the owner). I’ve had several repairs done new, and actually feel confident about going the the mechanic, rather than stressed about my personal lack of knowledge. Highly recommended.

Went to this place for a Smog Check today. About 20 bucks cheaper than the so call «low price» smog places in town. Best of all, they are honest quoted me an «out the door» price. No add on fees. Highly recommended.
