A group of friends decided to dine here since we were at a conference at the convention center. The hostess was extremely friendly and sat us right away. Our waitress wasn’t very friendly nor did she crack a smile. We noticed that she kept checking on another table that made it known that they are regulars, her attitude towards them was way different than with us. I get it, you connect with other parties since they come in often, but that’s how you accumulate regulars, when you give good service. She checked on their table multiple times and only checked on us once. One of my friends wanted chili flakes for her pizza but didn’t get them because we didn’t get checked on until we were done and ready for the bill and she was ready for her tip. So the service was crappy. Food wise I wasn’t all that impressed either. We ordered salads and pizza. The chicken in the salad was very bland and the salad lacked flavor overall. The pizza was ok but it wasn’t anything I would come back for. Pizza and salad is an easy winner but not here! Overall not a good experience and no one in my party said they wanted to come back. The menu looked appetizing but the food wasn’t anything great. If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant full of flavors, try Brio in Victoria Gardens! You won’t be disappointed!

My family was down in SoCal for some business, and this restaurant was near our hotel. It looked very welcoming and upon entering it looked very nice. There was a live piano player and everything was very pretty. This is where review goes bad, and we hadnt even received our food yet. The entry smelled like bathrooms. Which were located directly across from the door. Our family had been out at the beach all day, and we were all in shorts, tshirts, and flip flops. We also had our seven month old son with us. When we entered we were greeted with an unpleasant look and a question of «Do you have reservations?». We asked if we needed them(the dining area was nearly empty) and were told«no, you dont». We then were seated at a table with four chairs, our party was three adults, one child, and the baby. We were not offered a high chair or baby sling. So our son was placed on the floor, where he was repeatedly kicked by the staff. We had to take him out of his car seat and hold him the entire meal so he would not be kicked. He was great, and didnt make a peep throughout the meal. He is usually well behaved, and when not we are quick to step outside. We try to be very respectful of others. A shame this establishment is not. To the food. The pre meal bread was very nice, and fresh. This was sadly the best part. My meal was extremely over cooked shrimp with angel hair pasta and vegetables. The pasta and vegetables were acceptable. My wife had rigatoni and bolognese sauce, mostly sauce. It was the best overall meal out of our table. My mother had a special, which was linguine with shrimp and lobster. Also terribly rubbery shrimp, and a gutted half lobster. Mostly shell and feelers. And a bitter sauce that seemed more wine than anything else. We waited 15 minutes after our table was cleared for an offering of dessert, which we declined. During the wait my wife took our still silent baby to the restroom for a diaper change. The manager followed her to the restroom, and when she emerged immediately(no changing station in their restrooms) to go to our vehicle for the diaper change she was greeted with more frowns. After finishing the change(and leaving the diaper in our car) when she re-entered the restaurant the manager was, surprise, still waiting there with a dirty look. We felt very rudely treated by every staff member except out server and busser, who were both extremely nice. We could only assume that either our dress attire, or our baby was not welcome. Our money certainly was, paying over a hundred dollars for three meals of rubber shrimp and sauce. If they had communicated a dress code or no small children allowed, we would have gladly gone to a different establishment. And most definitely enjoyed our meal much more. A shaky three stars for food, and a one star for lack of human decency. Average of two.

Worst customer service ever in this fake«upscale» establishment I came in with my brother wanting to try some Italian, ok we come in at around 4:30 ish, idk where this lame dude came up with his attitude but he said«what’s up» wtf? Are we at a bar or some ghetto place? Don’t talk to me like I’m your homie or bro. He was very rude never smiled no «how are you» nothing the manager needs to put these lame idiot workers in place, when I go out I want great quality service not horrible! Especially if we are spending more then $ 70 on two people! Just so unprofessional! The only thing great the food and it’s beautifully decorated inside. But never will I ever return in my whole life.

Had dinner at the bar — very good and very nice. Priced 25 – 45. It was Fri, piano player was unobtrusive and very delightful. Would go back next time I’m at the Quality Inn across the street.

Just found out today that the original owner sold the business about a year ago. Her name is Rosa. The place is still called that but with two S’s in the name now. The menu is still the same as the old place. They really decorated the place really nice since the last time that I was here. Plus they have a piano player there now. The food is still really good. Try the calamari if you are a fan. I did. My main dish that I had was the chicken with Italian sausage and caprese salad. It was excellent. I highly recommend this place for a date night. The service is really good. Plus if you like wine, they have a huge selection from which to choose from. And don’t forget to get the spumoni.

Stopped by with a group during a conference break. Was seated very quickly and treated well. Ordered the Fettucini Alfredo con Pollo which came out promptly. Decent sized portion for what I paid. Delicious to the last bite. Sadly no option for cannolis to make this a perfect meal.

Ontario is an annual visit for us. I was happy to find this lovely little quiet place to enjoy happy hour. Portions we decent, well prepared and very delicious. Service was spot on. The dinner menu was tempting but outside of my budget. Very tempting… We will be back next year for happy hour!

One word … Incredible! We were in the area and I was craving Italian food. We were a little surprised when we walked In by the ambience. It’s a more fine dining experience. Pick another place if you’re in shorts and sandals lol. My husband ordered the lobster bisque as an appetizer. It was the best I have ever tasted. Perfectly seasoned with just the right texture. It’s a delectable experience for your tastebuds. The entrees we ordered were perfectly prepared. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. So happy we found this gem!

We’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile now, and finally had the chance to have dinner on a Tuesday Night around 6pm. When we got there it was quiet, but still slow. Another 30 mins later the whole restaurant was packed and very busy and it seemed like they did not have not enough staff to cover every table in a sufficient amount of time. We had to wait a long time for the dessert menu(tray) and check. We also saw several tables around us wait and wait for their entrees to come. Complimentary bread was nice and warm when it arrived at our table, but nothing special in terms of taste and quality, it was just plain bread. Would’ve been nice to have rosemary flavor or garlic or sourdough for a change. I love how they already have the olive oil and balsamic bottles on the table. I like that they have a vegetarian section on their menu, but I wasn’t too interested in the options. I’ve been to Italy recently, so it’s really hard for anyone to compete! Also, their menu online is different from the menu at the restaurant. (4 stars) I got the Penne Pasta with eggplant and tomatoes and asked for Pesto sauce. The Pesto was not fresh, it tasted like they used dry basil to make the sauce. But the sautéed garlic eggplant was really good. (2 stars) Spinach Ravioli with Marinara sauce(instead of the mushroom sauce). The marinara was too sweet and the capers made the whole dish too salty and overpowered the flavors in the dish. (4 stars) Dessert: Shell with White Chocolate ice cream with berries. This was pretty good, you can taste the white chocolate chunks in the ice cream. The side yellow sauce tasted like apple sauce, which tasted weird, maybe a peach or passionfruit sauce would have been better? Overall the décor in this place is really nice, the food is okay, but they definitely need to work on having more staff to cover all the tables when it get’s really busy. (Décor 5 stars; Food 3 stars)

The most authentic Italian food we have had outside of Italy. The bolognese was delicious, not sweet. The carbonara was exactly how it is prepared in litany, without peas and cream.

Very Very disappointed at the fixed price Rosas charged on Feb 13 and 14. $ 85 per person! My now husband and I met at this restaurant for the first time 6 years ago the day before valentines day and we have made it a tradition to come every year, but this was the first year we broke tradition. Was not happy. I would have left a review sooner but I didn’t realize Rosas restaurant name was now different. Disappointed with the directions that roses has gone in since changing owners.

After a long time of not dining here with the original Rosa’s, I dined out with my wife, best friend and 93 yr old friend. We ordered the house salad, the lamb, seafood pasta, cheese linguine. All were good portions for the price, seemed fresh, and presented well. Do admit though, I miss the fennel rolls that were given out by the previous Rosa’s!

The best Italian food in the Inland Empire by a long shot. I’ve tried Antonio’s and Monaco’s in Rancho Cucamonga. I’ve tried Mario’s and Bella Trattoria in Riverside. They just don’t hold a candle to this place. Food is fresh, well presented with great flavors. I had the Cioppino, it was prep with fish, scallops, clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp, lobster and topped with fine pasta– very ‘Al Dente’- what a delight. I also had a chance to try the Lobster Bisque, quite an amazing flavor. Jessica was our waitress, she did a superb job serving us. I will be back and try other dishes they have.

Pricy, but delicious, and they definitely lived up to «fine» Italian dining! I came here for dinner prior to my first day of the February 2016 bar exam at Ontario Convention Center because it was walking distance from my hotel(Comfort Suites). From the time I walked in the door, the server greeted me with a welcoming smile and took me immediately to my table. The tables are adorably decorated with cloth tablecloth, an actual candle and low lighting to complete the ambiance. The wall of the place also had wine bottles prominently displayed as decoration, which I found to be a cute touch. I ordered the Caprese Salad with additional blackened chicken for $ 5. As someone who’s trying to go low gluten, I’m always partial to Italian restaurants that offer traditional salad and meat dishes in addition to just pastas, because I’m a sucker for balsamic vinegar+ herbs+ olive oil. The caprese salad was about 4 – 5 pieces of tomato with mozzarella on top, about a quarter cup of marinated bell peppers, olives, and prosciutto that was curled into a flower along with(presumably) the peel for the tomatoes on the plate. They placed the chicken along the edges of the plate and offered either or both of fresh grated parmesan and fresh grated pepper. I asked for pepper only and the pepper actually tasted very punchy fresh on top of the other ingredients! The entire salad had an overall herby olive oil flavor, which went perfectly with the salty briney flavor in the olives. The server was prompt in bringing water/water refills and taking orders. I think the manager even came around at one point to check whether I liked my food, as he was a guy in a suit that seemed to be asking the same of every party. My salad was $ 17.50, which is a little expensive for my unlicensed attorney(to be) self. However, given the ambience, service, and taste, I would say it was worth it! If for some reason I’m back in Ontario, I’ll be back to Rossa’s.

Everyone in our party loved their food. Penne Arrabiata was the right level of spicy, chicken on the pastas very tender, sauces very rich. The restaurant was set up for a nice atmosphere but once the tables began to fill in it was very hard to carry a conversation due to the restaurant being so noisy. Additionally, I was surprised by how many small children were there.

My lady and I came here for Valentine’s Day. By far one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The special menu for that night was delicious. A four course meal for a pre-fix menu price was just right. Not over price at all compare to other places in Los Angeles. Well worth the drive for a beautiful night with my lady. She so much enjoy the night and thought the food was excellent. The filet mignon con pasta alfredo was the high light of the meal for me. It was perfectly prepared the way it should be. The service was impeccable and I will highly recommend my family and friends to this amazing place. Great selection of wine as well. Thank you for a memorable night with my lady. We left very happy with the food and service. Will be back for sure.

Came here for valentine’s day. We have been coming here every valentine’s for the past few years because we absolutely love the lamb chops and order them everytime. No lamb chops anymore! Pre fixed menu was over priced at $ 85 per person. Bread– not an appealing color– pale white color and not toasted enough, a little doughy Appetizer– calamari over cooked, batter was a pale color instead of golden and marinara sauce was over salted. Bruschetta was okay except the bread was totally soggy and fell apart Caesar salad– okay, not cold, generic, nothing special Lobster bisque– okay, previously it used to have little chunks of lobster Meat and a drizzle of crème fraise over top but not anymore Main course– filet mignon with Alfredo pasta, odd combo. was good, steak wasn’t a bright red on the inside(medium rare) more like a brown maroon color-not fresh. Lobster pasta too rich, needed something acidic to cut through it. Dessert– tiramisu– good, lava cake– not a lava cake, was a mini bunt cake with warm chocolate sauce poured into center. When we used to come here the service was impeccable and so was the food especially the lamb chops that don’t exist anymore. Probably won’t be coming back here again. **lastly, paid $ 12 for a raspberry pom martini made with smirnoff… they originally sat us in a room with horrible fluorescent lighting and a very loud table that echoed throughout the whole room, next to the busboy station where we couldn’t hear the piano player– the restaurant wasn’t full. After seeing the price of $ 85 we asked to move. Maybe the food is better on a non pre fixed menu night…

My boyfriend and I went for valentine’s day. I made a reservation approximately 3 weeks in advance. There was no mention of a special menu(although I should have guessed so). We had a four course meal. You get to choose from 3 appetizers. Then a choice of soup or salad. A main entrée and finally a desert for $ 85 per person. Now that is quite expensive but it is what you would expect for a holiday such as valentine’s. However, I Do expect exemplary food and amazing service also, which I don’t feel that we received. Our servicer was Jessica, she herself was wonderful and amazing and is the only reason I’ve given 3 stars. 1st course: he ordered calamari I ordered brushette His was overly salty mine was soggy. 2nd course: both ordered lobster bisque, it was room temperature when it got to us and honestly I could make better myself at home. Main course: he got steak, it was actually decent with a side of Alfredo, again I could have made better at home. I had the veal over risotto in marinara. The marinara was bland, the veal was mostly fat and the risotto tasted like rice-aroni. Dessert: at this point we just wanted to leave bit thought it was not prudent not to take part since we had to pay for it anyway, Jessica was kind enough to suggest that we take it to go, so we did. The staff was unorganized at best. We had a server come up us twice completely confused about what he was doing. 1st he brought us the wrong food, it was actually for the table next to us.(Which honestly happens and it’s fine) but the second time he came around he asked us what course was next for us. really??? Really!?! It did not help that the resturant was dirty with napkins and paper on the floor. It also didn’t help that there was a couple of 4 sitting right next to us acting like they were at a sports bar during«the big game»(no fault of the resturant of course, but annoying just the same). All in all, I will not be returning. My boyfriend did say that I should not judge my this one experience and that since there are so many positive reviews maybe this was just an off night. Could be true, but on a night that is supposed to be special, I do not at all think we got what $ 200 is worth.

The food here is very good. The prices are quite high, but this is a fancy joint. It should have a semiformal dress code. The second you walk in, you will see that Unilocal is incorrect in saying it is casual. They make dishes that an average Italian restaurant wouldn’t, and that to me makes it worth it. Just don’t show up in a tshirt and jeans if you don’t want funny looks ;-P

The place was packed when we went in. We snagged a very nice seat in the bar area. The employees were scrambling like madmen to keep up with everything, but they still made time to make us feel important. The wine was fabulous and my food was delicious! I ordered the CAPELLINIDELLOCHEF without the Prosciutto. I couldn’t stop eating it. My friend ordered the steak, but it came back undercooked and she had to send it back. It’s always a disappointment to wait on food while the other person is scarfing theirs down… oops Overall, it was a great and I would go back.

Some of the best Italian I’ve had outside of Italy. The menu was varied and the food preparations exceptional. The veal and artichoke hearts was perfectly prepared in a light and lively wine sauce. Served with side of perfectly cooked capellini and sautéed vegetables. We opened the meal with crab stuffed mushrooms with a delicious cream sauce and finished it with scoop of white chocolate ice cream in a cup of slivered almond brittle. Service was impeccable. Worth a return trip.

From the outside you would not think this place was as elegant as it is. We attended a private party in one of the separate rooms they have to offer. One of two, I believe. Upon entering I was surprised by the elegance and clean and modern décor. With a full bar and lounge with a pianist for entertainment, waiting for a table will not feel like waiting for a table. The service, the appetizers and the main course were all impressive. Not to mention the menu selection. Dine or Dash? Dine… If you are looking for a nice evening and meal I highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious Italian food! We are from NYC, and we would often go to BRIOs, but New Year’s Eve we did not have reservations so we looked on Unilocal and found Rossas. A bit skeptical but it was pure luck and this is the closest to small town restaurants that we found since we moved here 2years ago. We are definitely going back! I love that the new owners have kept the main menu at Rossa’s from the previous owners. The finishing touch– the coffee– used to be Doewe Egberts and was outstanding– now it tastes like Folgers Instant. The new owners are cutting some corners like the bread and coffee. They think we don’t notice– but we clearly do! Hopefully the owners will realize«if it’s not broke don’t fix it»!

I went to Rossa’s last night for my firm’s holiday dinner. It was a schizophrenic experience. The food was excellent. All five of us enjoyed the food and everyone commented on how good it was. The restaurant itself was loud and only grew louder as the night went on. The restaurant was completely full so no doubt that contributed to it. But it was a real problem. It was inconvenient at the start of the night. By the end of the night I couldn’t hear half the people at my table. The service was frustrating and it may be they were understaffed. There were very long gaps between seeing our waiter or other wait staff. We ran out of water several times during dinner. It took way too long to order and to get our bill. Five star food and one star service hence my three star rating.

My mother and I met here for lunch. She thought it might be too expensive, but I live in a culinary wasteland and needed something good and fresh. The table had cruets of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, which well with the nice crusty fresh bread. We split a veal Piccata which was a little small, but very nice. the mashed potatoes were good the sauce, excellent. We also shared a side salad that was very good. If you’re in the area, go it. It is worth it.

The food here is AMAZING! Been here a couple of times and it’s definitely worth indulging. Christine Moreno is always boasting about how delicious their food is and the events they hold so I finally gave it a shot and it was absolutely worth it! I told my colleagues about it and one of my employees ended up attending one of their events and he fell in love with the place as well! Great job to Christine and the staff making great Italian dishes!
