after purchase from west coast I will never purchase from anywhere else. first Steve woodruff is magnificent. when I first looked at fort knox he told me about all the little things. he actually talked me out of paying more money and just adding extras to a cheaper model to «create» the more expensive. so I built a custom one. it took about 13 weeks to be finished. they delivered and installed a week after they received it in stock. I’m the one who pushed it back a week. they were willing to come out sooner but I preferred the Friday install. their installers (unfortunately I don’t rememeber their names) are spectacular. moved it in to place within 15 minutes. they are not your typical construction type. very nice and positive the whole time. after they were done they took about 15 minutes to verify that I knew what I was doing. I love my safe. I don’t plan on buying another but if you do buy it at west coast.

Thank The Lord for West Coast Safes! They are very knowledgeable as well as patient and caring towards their customers. I was soo blessed by Anthony and his willingness to take time to talk to Brad to help resolve a problem with a gift offered by Liberty Safe. They were truly an answer to prayer! You can shop around other safe companies as I did, but in the end, Steve (Owner) at West Coast Safes in Ontario Ca, overall had the best deal regarding product, price, support, delivery and installation.
Steve is a straight shooter, very knowledgeable and loves what he does. He sincerely wants to see that your needs are met and that you come away as a happy customer. There are a lot of other companies on the net that will quote you what seem to be remarkable prices and are out for the quick sale, but where the rubber hits the road is support, warranty service, delivery and installation. Each time I had a question, I could pick up the phone and talk with Steve and he would answer all my questions regarding product information.

I’ve been shopping for a good safe for a while and have looked everywhere even online. I finally pulled the trigger and the fat boy liberty. The safe is awesome but it was more awesome dealing with the guys and gals at West coast safes.
These guys took their time with me and didn’t BS me on anything, I told them what my needs were for a safe and they helped me find the right one. These safes are pricey but worth every penny so take advantage of the sales people!

My family and I were looking for a new safe for our home. I had been searching for quite some time to determine which safe would match our safety and budgetary needs. We finally decided on the Liberty FatBoy Extreme! After shopping around I decided to make some calls to check prices to be the best consumer I could be. That’s when I found West Coast Safes. When Garrett answered the phone he was extremely polite, informative and wanted to help me find exactly what I was looking for. Even though the FatBoy Extreme had recently been discontinued Garrett was able to locate one! The safe was not in stock but he could have it on the next truck from the factory.
So, after purchase, shipping, and install we now have a great FatBoy Extreme safe from West Coast Safes. Shipping across state lines was no issue either. The staff at West Coast Safes wrapped my safe with layers of protection and added a pallet bottom to ensure there was no tipping. Needless to say my safe arrived with absolutely no damage at all!!!
During this whole process I had the «Extreme» pleasure of dealing with Steve «the owner», Garrett & Brad «sons», Anthony and Heather who each in their own right should be commended for their Outstanding customer service, drive to satisfy the customers requests and compassion. I don’t experience this level of customer service and satisfaction often, let alone over the phone and another state. Top Notch!!!

My husband and I have a 3 year old daughter, so naturally having a gun safe is essential for us in providing for her safety and for our peace of mind. We stumbled upon this store because they both had the best prices and by far the best selection. We went in there with a certain budget and left with a top notch American Security Safe. They gave us a great deal on it because of a small blemish on the front of the safe that is so small it’s hard to even see. They loaded it right into our truck with ease it was amazing, watching my husband and his friends try to unload this when we got home was a riot. They are so nice here that they even gave us a free Liberty dehumidifier for the safe, free of charge. We now have a beautiful dark gun metal, full sized American Security gun safe. This store is over an hour and a half away from us and we will gladly drive out there every time we need something, instead of driving 10 minutes from us to the only other real gun safe store in Los Angeles County. This place excels in the customer service department and we are so glad we found this place.

I visited West Coast Liberty Safes and was helped by Anthony. He is very knowledgeable and helped me choose a quality safe for my budget. They have a HUGE selection and their products are made in the USA not China. He and his staff installed the safe at my home with no problems. Needless to say, I’m happy with my purchase.

Just received my custom American Security BF6032 !!! This thing is Amazing. Garret at the store was Awesome. He spent quite a bit of time with me going over the different features offered on safes. By the time he was finished I felt like a safe expert. I was able to make an informed decision on my new investment. One thing I learned was not to buy a safe. But rather invest in a safe. That line changed everything. The delivery guys were right on time 10am. Skip and Daniel muscled it in the house, bolted it down and were gone in less than half an hour. Buying a safe depending on the size safe you are buying can be a large purchase that if you take your time and choose wisely can last you a lifetime.
Steve and his team and West Coast Safes helped me in purchasing my lifetime safe and I could not be happier with my choice to buy through them.
SELECTION:
I already had an idea what safe I wanted prior to going in to the shop because I had don’t a large amount of research prior to visit. That being said, these guys have a huge selection in their store. And not in catalog. In actual large safes to touch, see, and interact with.
PRICE:
I compared prices for over a month and West Coast Safes was hands down the best price.
DELIVERY:
Delivery started out a bit rough, with the safe arriving wth a scratch on it. That being said the customer service they offered was outstanding. He gave me options. Offered to reduce the price to compensate for the scratch, or temporarily leave the safe so my personal items could be secured and replace the safe when a new one could be delivered. I chose the second option.
The new safe came 4 weeks earlier than expected and the crew was fantastic when they switched it out!
While they were switching out my safe they asked me if I cleaned it out. I assured them I did. Well not to the surprise of my girlfriend, a week later she was looking for her passport, and guess what? I left it in the old safe.
Called West Coast Safes and they confirmed I did leave it in the safe and even were willing to ship me them back AT NO CHARGE! Such great customer service. Better than any company in any industry I have encountered!!!
I do not leave these reviews often, if ever. But these guys really deserve props. I highly recommend anyone looking to buy any type of safe go to these guys.

Great experience with this company from selection through delivery and installation. When we were deciding on a safe Garrett expertly walked us through the pros and cons of all options. When we decided on a safe he even steered us away from a couple of expensive add ons I thought I needed. Installers were on time, professional and took great care when in our home. The attention to detail during the installation was impressive. You could tell they wanted the safe to be a perfect fit and well balanced. This is a very well run company — it was a pleasure to do business with them.

I was recently in the market for a safe, I did my research and decided I didn’t wan’t to go with one of the mass produced, overseas, imported safes on sale from one of the big box stores.
After looking around for the best entry level safe in my budget I narrowed down my choices, found West Coast safes at the LA county fair and was impressed with their selection.
I took a trip to their showroom to take a closer look, compare, and ask some questions about the differences and specs. The staff at West Coast Safes were very helpful, attentive, and helped me choose the right safe for my needs.
I put in my order and decide to have my new safe delivered and installed. Sure you could save a little money and always pick up and install yourself but considering the logistics involved in moving a 500+ pound safe carefully without damaging the interior walls and floors I believe the extra money was minimal and totally worth it. My advice is to leave this to the professionals!
Delivery was prompt and professional, they arrived in a discrete unmarked vehicle, made sure not to remove the safe from the packaging until it was inside my home and out of sight. The delivery guys did an excellent job, they secured the safe to my foundation, verified it was in the position where I wanted, made sure the safe was leveled, and also connected a power strip inside the safe to power my dehumidifier rod and I even had a few extra plugs for some interior lights I plan on adding in the future
If you are looking for a safe look no further, This is the place! You really cannot find a better value for your money, with this level of professionalism and exceptional customer service. When I decide to upgrade I will definitely be returning to West Coast Safes!

Staff was knowledgable and friendly. They were there to help with any questions but not annoying like a used car salesman. Good inventory, large showroom, and very helpful and patient in the big decision to buy our first safe. They were very careful during installation, not a scratch on the safe or my walls. They even spent the time to show me how to properly operate all of my safe’s functions. Strongly recommend.

, and pinged Brad. We had some email exchanges, a couple phone calls, and suddenly I had a safe ordered. Since there was a wait (the model and configuration I wanted was not in stock) I ended up getting a small handgun safe while the other one was in process. Brad had that in stock and shipped it out immediately. Over the course of the 8 weeks or so that I waited, I touched base a few times and Brad always under promised and over delivered in terms of estimates and when things would arrive.
The delivery date was set with an «8−11 a.m.» window. I pinged Brad a couple days before and asked if he could help me narrow it down at all, and he said it would probably be closer to 9. Daniel called me a few minutes before 8 to let me know they were 40 minutes out. He and Anthony showed up and deftly and professionally put the safe in its intended location. We chatted some about motorcycles (they are all enthusiasts) and the weight of the largest safes they deliver (moving safes of well over a ton!), then Daniel took me through opening and configuring my safe. He also said if I ever want it moved or need anything at all to let them know since they’re in the neighborhood at least once/​week. I paid the balance, we shook hands, and they were off. Time: 8:58 a.m. and I was able to get on with my day earlier than planned :-)
They epitomize customer service and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

This place rocks! If you got guns or valuables, they got high quality safes at all different price levels.
