Ok. So got more information on the«fees» they charge. If you are not a Collegdale city resident you cannot check out books even if you live in Ooltewah for free. If you live in Ooltewah and want to check out books it’s either $ 60/person or $ 85 for a family. I think this is honestly, ridiculous since Ooltewah doesn’t have a library of its own. The lady told me that during the summer they have a special for $ 10 but it only applies to summer months. So if you’re not a Collegedale resident you can’t check out books. We are more than welcome to come to any event free of charge. This is ok for toddlers since they have toddler time on Tuesdays, it’s just a bummer I can’t check books out for my daughter :(

This is a public library. It’s services should be free to the public and that’s because I pay taxes. They want to charge $ 60 a year to become a member. They say you can pay $ 1 for a guest pass for two hours. It’s located by the police department in the Tractor Supply parking lot. The people seem nice waiting on you.
