1st time I bought from them was in 2011, got some Terra-cotta concrete sealer, it rolled on easy and looked beautiful. Now in 2016 it was time to repaint, I purchased their silver color this time, three 5 gallon drums and 1 gal of heavy duty degreaser, $ 440+. When I opened the first bucket the paint had a hint of blue, i figured it would dry to grey like the sample i had purchased from them prior. After I was done with that bucket I opened the second, same thing, hint of blue, kept painting. Open the third bucket… grey. no hint of blue at all. it gets better, everything that was painted with the blue tint paint, has bubbled. I go back today and explain the situation to Beverly. She immediately accused me of not mixing the paint correctly and stating that I applied it incorrectly. Mind you, this is not my first time painting with this sealer, I have used it on my house and various family members homes as well. I also new the importance of mixing because the sample that I purchased the week before was in a glass jar and you can see how the pigment settles at the bottom of the jar. I used both 5 gal buckets to the very end and it was uniform color the entire time(blue tint). They even had the same batch numbers on all 3 buckets. I came into the store today to give them an opportunity fix the defect with there product, I didn’t want a refund or a discount(Even though I wasted my entire weekend pressure washing/painting and now have to do it again), just 3 new 5 gallon buckets that are the correct color.. Beverly told me I would need to visit corporate in Opa locka to speak to the owner and insisted that I did it wrong. No thanks, Im not going to drive that distance to have someone give me more excuses. That’s what credit card disputes are for. Stay away from these people.

I was really excited to make my 10 year old stamped concrete driveway look like new, and my internet search indicated that this local company was a widespread supplier of tinted sealants that could accomplish my objective. I waited for the weather to cool and humidity to drop, then engaged in the labor intensive process of power-washing every crevice, then applying the sealant in 2 coats. I followed all the instructions to the letter, including not parking cars on the surface for over 6 days. Despite all this, 6 months later, there are many areas where the product is beginning to wear off. I called in and was told there is nothing to be done except buying more chemicals to remove this work, and start over, this time with an «etcher» chemical(one which I was told 6 months ago I didn’t need). So: either the product is defective(and Super Stone was unwilling to compensate me under the Limited Warranty) or I was given bad advice in preparation of the surface. Either way, I’m disappointed with the loss of money, but especially the loss of time on a very labor intensive job that will be even more labor to re-do. I would say that if you want to do this kind of work, hire a pro, BUT since the pro will be paid and gone months before the product shows any signs of failing, I think it would be safer to just recommend avoiding this kind of project entirely.
