Shoe Station has a lot of famous brands(and some less famous brands) of shoes; it’s kind of like a mini-DSW. I like how you can just browse and try on shoes on your own without being constantly bugged by employees. I don’t know about the men’s side(looks like two aisles or so), but for women, they have sneakers, flats, boots, sandals both casual and formal, and more from brands like Saucony, Asics, New Balance, LifeStride, Dr. Scholl’s, Rocket Dog, Merrell, and Chacos. I don’t keep up with current trends so I don’t know how fashionable the styles are but I can usually find a pair that fits my needs. Often there will be great sales. The Unilocal app has a check-in discount, and there are frequently generous coupons in circulars and on their website. I love Zappos but nothing beats trying on shoes before you buy. It was a little weird that on my latest visit, I saw lots of employees on the floor, but when it was time to check out, there was only one girl working the register and several people in line. Bonus: restroom for customers!
