Super Supplements

I have been going here for a very long time. I have a terrible bladder pain issue called Interstitial Cystitis, and Lyme. I use a lot of supplements instead of bombarding my system with traditional medicines. I am well known by everyone in there. I purchased L-​Glutamine for the stomach lining building properties this supplement can do. Well I took it shortly after ingesting it I had a terrible reaction to it.
Upon learning about how people with pain have too much glutamine in their bodies I made the connection of why I was suddenly feeling like I was going to die. This stuff was harming me! I got the worst headache in my life. I downed two charcoal capsules and called Super Supplements where I had purchased this product. I talked to Jack. Jack told me to bring the supplement into the store, and he would give me store credit.
So when I could go into the store I did the next day. I walked in, and a sales person named Cory was working, and he was short with me, as he told me he couldn’t do anything to help me. He made a big deal about how he couldn’t even look up the price of what I had bought, and the store would take a hit if I returned the item because I no longer had the receipt!
I will never go into that store again! I am already shopping at Wynant’s in Springfield now. I spend a lot of money on supplements, and most everyone knows me at Supper Supplements they couldn’t take the hit of a return? Even though I have spent 100’s of dollars in their store? That’s okay I will take my business elsewhere. I also don’t like how that product was pushed at me by Cory about a month ago when I was in their store. He needs to be careful what he pushes at people! Good thing I knew what to do when I realized it was hurting me! I’m done shopping with them for good! They lost a very loyal customer over one supplement.

This place is great! And not just for humans. We found almost every common and obscure supplement we needed for our sick cat here at Super Supplements, including things no other store in town seems to sell, and at very reasonable prices. They’re always happy to give advice and save you some time by taking you straight to what you need (with so many options, some guidance is helpful). They also bodybuilding supplements, shakes, energy bars, other health foods, and an awesome no-​cal blackberry water.

Your store is an excellent resource. I had sworn off buying retail as I have a limited budget and require extensive supplements for assistance with chronic pain (fibromyalgia like condition), mood support and low energy. For many years I’ve been buying from Swansons Vitamins online. I buy mainly brands such as Yarrow, Source Naturals, and Now so things add up quickly. Discounts through Swansons were dramatically less than I could get retail.
Upon first visiting your Corte Madera store (on a vacation) I was surprised and delighted to see your selection of products, then secondly surprised by your reasonable pricing.
Upon visiting your Eugene, Oregon store I was delighted again. Like a kid in a candy store;). To top if off, I was floored and greatly impressed by the extensive encyclopedia-​like knowledge of the employee named Jack.
Having had a variety of specific health issues for 11 years, I’ve seen endless mainstream doctors, alternative doctors, nutritionists, acupuncturists, chiropractors. You name it, I’ve done it. I’ve also made efforts to read many current health and wellness books to keep myself informed on each of my personal specific issues.
I know I’m not an expert, but given all of my exposure over the years it has been rare if not impossible to encounter an individual that has background understanding and knowledge of All the conditions and supplements that I mention upon visiting the store. I was blown away that Jack seemed to be able to answer and address each condition and product need inside out. Upon encountering Jack and then the rest of the highly informed and helpful staff, I decided to bring more of my business to Super Supplements. Your sale and everyday prices are good. I consciously decided that it is worth it to spend a little more than some of the Swansons products to be able to utilize your amazing staff and secondly to support a local store. I have been telling everyone I know about what a wonderful resource your store is.
