Attended a friend’s wedding here recently and was really impressed. The atmosphere is welcoming/​laid-​back and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. All of the wedding party had a great time, and it was nice having everything – pre-​wedding prep, hangout time, meals, photos, ceremony, reception, after-​party, etc. – all in one place. For the most part, there was not the usual stress and hustle and bustle of other weddings; all of the family and friends stayed at the ranch and had plenty of time and space to just relax and have good conversations.
The event was how it should be; the focus was completely on celebrating the couple and having a great time. The only weak point I can think of was the pool (above-​ground/​a tad on the small side, but works fine and is certainly not a deal-​breaker). Lastly, the venue is freaking gorgeous and the climate is ideal, day and night.

This is one of the most charming and historic ranches we have experienced in the south west. The attention to detail in the room appointments, the level of attention by the staff and the vast and unbelievably charming grounds are all phenomenal. This place is fantastic for company retreats, metaphysical and yoga style retreats, and our purpose, weddings. It was a great place for ceremony, and reception with plenty of room for guests to slip off to bed and the rowdy younger guests to go all night without disturbing the grand folks. We loved every aspect of El Rancho Robles.
