ENT and Allergy Associates

My doctor referred me here after a lump was found on the side on my neck, towards my chin area. I was very nervous considering I had never been to a specialist of any kind before. But, since a family friend works at my doctor’s office and okayed this place — I went ahead and booked the appointment.
The appointment was super easy to make. I went on their website, requested an appointment time and recieved a phone call in a matter of minutes where they confirmed for me.
I went in and the place is very well kept. Waiting room is clean and open and the front desk staff was friendly. They ran my information quickly and was seated in minutes. Wait time wasn’t long. They took me in and I mentioned the lump and how I hadn’t had my ears checked in awhile — the nurse took me right to the audiologist to have me checked! Fantastic.
Doctor came in afterwards in reguards to the lump on my neck and was wonderful! He was very polite and great bed-​side manner. He took the time to move slowely and explain to me every little thing they were doing. If he thought I didn’t understand something he broke it down more so I could. I could not ask for a better doctor.
From there I had to report to Mount Sinai. But ENT didn’t stop helping me just because I had to go somewhere else. I was having insurance problems and the folks at ENT were super, SUPER helpful. Theresa, the doctor’s assistant took care of it all for me to make sure I was squared away before my appointment at Mount Sinai since it would involve surgery and we didn’t know if my insurance covered it. I doubt this was her job title — but she called me daily to make sure everything worked out.
I highly, HIGHLY reccomend this place to anyone in the area that needs an ENT!

Definitely one of the best practices in the area. Dr. Huang removed my tonsils in 2007, and, a aside from sadness over saying goodbye to my favorite vestigial organ, I couldn’t have been happier with my before, during and after care. Adult tonsillectomies are no joke and it was incredibly comforting to know that I was in good hands. It’s been seven years and I haven’t had a throat problem since!
