Touch of England Dart & Game Shop

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this shop. Expert, friendly staff who not only let you take your time figuring out what you’re after but will also give you advice as you throw at the in house dart board.
A solid selection of darts for all skill levels barring crap plastic darts you’d find at Walmart.
After about 45 minutes of chatting and throwing I settled on a nice set of UFOs for just over $ 50. Of my own choice I added in a bunch of well priced and diverse flights for an extra $ 10 or so.
Can you buy this stuff online? Sure, but this shop is a perfect example of customer service winning over mail order.
If you’ve got any interest in playing darts, visit this store and I guarantee you’ll leave with a set of darts that will up your game almost instantly.
Money and time well spent.

Came here for my first set of darts based on a recommendation by a friend as was not disappointed. Betty was very patient and let me try out all different types of darts before finding one that fit me. Everything is fairly priced and even though I’m sure you can find slightly better prices online, you can’t put a price on the customer service.
They get the full 5 stars based on the fact that there was absolutely ZERO upsell on their products (as a matter of fact, Betty threw in some extra flights on the house with my set). I walked in and gave Betty a budget on what I was willing to spend and she purposely didn’t give me the prices of the darts that I tried out. The darts I ended up choosing were a good amount under my budget. It was obvious that she just cared about finding the right darts for me, not the most expensive ones I would be willing to buy. Will definitely be back again.

Bought my first set of darts from Betty. She is very knowledgeable and really finds the right set at the right weight for you. She is a sweet lady, that has always been treating my friends and I with the utmost respect. We will only go see Betty when we need something.

I received a recommendation to come to this shop and it was well worth the 30 minute trip to buy my first set of darts.
When you first get to the store, it seems very unassuming as it is 1 of 3 stores on that block with nothing else around. When I walked into the shop, the woman behind the counter was on the phone so I just browsed around for a couple minutes before she attended to me. This is when I’ve experienced one of the best customer service that I haven’t seen in a long time.
Similar to the other reviews, the woman was very knowledgable about the darts and really took the time to help me pick out the perfect one. I must have tried out about 10 different darts, throwing them at least 10+ times or more to really get the feel. During that time, we cracked jokes (be able to take a couple of hits especially if you suck at throwing darts), talked about old stomping grounds, and other random things.
I ended up purchasing Piranha Razor Grips and compared to online prices, was a LITTLE bit more pricier, but you really can’t beat the customer service as well as being able to try out different darts to really find the best match. Can’t do that online.
I would recommend this place for anyone interested in purchasing their own darts as well as for the enthusiast (I saw two other people walk in during my time there to pick up new flights, as well as replace darts they misplaced).
Will definitely be coming back here as well as bring anyone I know who wants darts!

Very helpful & friendly! We come here for our darts and accessories. It is the perfect place to buy your first darts because you can try some out to find your preferences. They are the definition of customer service. If you’re new to darts, don’t be shy, but definitely go here!

I stopped in here yesterday with my Boyfriend to check out buying some new darts.
They had a fabulous selection. Betty was amazing. She asked us both questions, and then suggested that we throw many different types of darts to determine which was the best fit for our needs. Although she showed us some of the more of the expensive dart sets because we asked, she said she would sell them to us, but recommended that based on our ability that we stick with a less expensive set of darts. She was so knowledgeable and patient with us.
My boyfriend ended up buying a set of Talons, while after discussing it with Betty, we decided that I just needed new flights and shafts for the darts I already owned.
What a great place to shop for darts. I will be a repeat customer for as long as this place is around.

A couple friends recommended I go here to buy my first set of darts. Needless to say, I will come here for my second, third, or any subsequent set of darts or accessories. The selection of darts and related paraphernalia is borderline limitless, and the store owner is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but makes it her life goal to make sure you get the right dart for your game.
After an extremely vague description of what I was looking for, she was already pulling out five sets, and another few alternatives to try out. And oh yeah, she makes damn sure you try everything out. She is in NO WAY pushy to up-​sell you. In fact, I had asked about other options that unbeknownst to me were very expensive. She immediately (though unobtrusively) discounted those options as they were clearly outside of my budget and skill range. As others had mentioned, flights were included in the sale. Though only $ 1.80 a set, it’s still an incredibly warm gesture of customer appreciation.
Between the selection of darts, the prices that seem to be damn reasonable and the hospitality only found elsewhere in the south, this is by FAR one of the best retail experiences I have ever had. Keep it up!!!

i purchased my first set of darts yesterday and the woman was VERY helpful! now i wish she had a website that i could advertise on facebook!

Went here with my buddy over the weekend to pick up my first set of good darts. This place is amazing, the woman who works there was so helpful, she let us try all of the different darts out and even told us what numbers to go to so we could see how we’d throw in a pressurized situation.
Every purchase comes with a free set of flights, and although this only like a $ 1.50 value, it is still nice. The darts also came in a fake leather case which looks official. There are tons of darts to choose from ranging from $ 15 to as high as $ 110 and maybe even higher.
Also, they have some really cool dartboards, one had 18 hole golf on it, another had different shots. I recommend this place for any dart enthusiast.

I’ve never been to another shop that only sold dart supplies, but this place would still be the best even if there was competition. If you are looking to purchase darts, you will be encouraged to test out every set until you find what you like. You will definitely find what you are looking for because they have a huge selection for such a small shop. I especially like their collection of novelty dart boards for special games.
