I want to say thank you to elderly lady who works there she was a great help in all my questions. she sure knew what she was talking about. I am very happy with the store and I will be back there again. I also found her to be a pleasant person. she made me feel like I knew her for years. the items in the store were just what I was looking for and the price was right as well.

Today, I walked in prepared to spend thousands of dollars on a dining room set and a bedroom set. The elderly woman not only failed to return my smile, she looked at me as though I was a suspect in a furniture heist and took about 5 minutes to warm up to me and crack a semi-​smile. You could hear the hinges creaking. I refused to take her cold demeanor personally and proceeded to be friendly, remain cordial and inquisitive. It wasn’t until I expressed my taste in quality materials that she gave me a short tour of the bedroom sets and offered me a seat to look through their catalogs.
For anyone who knows interior design or has even dabbled in the tedious task of building a room from the ground up, you know that it takes a little time. So chances are, one may need to use the restroom during the process of combing through hundreds of pages in several catalogs and walking through the show room to finalize your decision…
So, just as a normal person might do, I asked the lady if I could use the restroom and this is when it got weird…
She looked at me in disgust, and told me that «They do not allow customers to use the restroom.» That was the final straw for me so I politely told her «that it was OK; I was going to eat lunch anyway and I would use it at the restaurant.» She looked at me and said «OK». Blown away, I COULD NOT BELIEVE that she was willing to allow a customer walk out of the store without making any purchases, because of her [seemingly] personal biases.
Successful entrepreneurs know that money is green and in order to gain the biggest return on their investment they must remain professional at all times. This includes making the consumer feel welcomed, yet I left believing that I am not valued as a customer.
There is far too much competition in the furniture business (especially in this Orange City location) to waste your money in such an unprofessional environment. Spend your money elsewhere, like I just did.
