We go here often when we want Chinese food. My wife and I like it so much, we asked Lisa and Jack (owners) to cater our wedding dinner after the ceremony last fall. We live in Fresno, but will drive to Orange Cove anytime we desire Chinese. No restaurants in Fresno even come close. It is truly a diamond in the rough and Lisa is wonderful.

Went back again with the family after a day of fun at Hillcrest Christmas Tree Farm. The owners are so nice, accommodating and keep everything clean. Went in at 2 pm sp it was dead… Food was great as usual. Loved the salt and pepper calamari, walnut shrimp and chicken chow fun! The sizzling rice soup was also very good! In speaking with the owners I found out that the owner/​chef used to work at the fancy Chinese restaurant in Hanford– which explains his yummy meals.

This place is a nugget in the middle of nowhere. It’s one of the best tasting Chinese food that I tasted. I live near a Chinese enclave and this restaurant can surely hold her own against the Chinese restaurants where I live. The waiter recommended an eggplant dish and string beans dish, and I tasted the freshness of the vegetables. If you’re staying in Squaw Valley to visit Kings Canyon National Park, this place is probably one of the best place to eat.

Best Chinese food for miles around hands down. You can’t go wrong with anything you order, but my favorites are the Hot and spicy chicken wings, Mongolian beef, and the China Garden chow mein. They also have seasonal vegetables posted year-​round. Also, you can make special requests. If they have what you want, they’ll make it.
Also, the waitress (owner) Lisa can usually help you figure out what you need. She can take an order in Spanish!
