Alterations At Victoria’s

For someone that has such a great reputation, i expected good quality. I had a few small patches sewn onto a shirt. It hasn’t even been 3 weeks yet and my patches are coming undone. For the price i paid i am pretty upset. My 2 cents.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! THE WORST SERVICE I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED! !!! She was very rude upon entering, she was upset because I interrupted her lunch, then told me I can go somewhere else if I think I can get a better price! In top of that the shop was filthy and wreaked of sour mildew smell and urine. I will never go back again. Rather go to the other right on Wells Rd.

Zula worked on each of my bridesmaids dresses. Her fashion designer mind was put to the test when one of my bridesmaids got pregnant. Zula did a phenomenal job on customizing each of the dresses to compliment each bridesmaids’ bodyshapes. She only did what was necessary and didn’t give us any fluff. I highly recommend her and will use her again in the future! :)

I found Zula through a referral from a friend when I needed a hem added to a fussy and fragile designer dress less than a week before Christmas. I called ahead and was invited to walk in without an appointment and have the garment pinned that same day. Zula recognized the designer, and offered to improve the design with the addition of horsehair to the hemline to help it hold it’s shape. She hand-​hemmed the skirt with a blind hem, added the horsehair, and added a custom five-​point under bustle while she was at it. The work was done in a week and for an extremely reasonable price. The day I went to pick it up, Zula had been in a car accident (fortunately not hurt) not a hour before, but still came into work for the fitting to finish the job.
Profoundly professional, extremely skilled, with a sharp eye for details and excellent sense of shape and proportion. Don’t let her shop’s humble size and location fool you. I have not found better when I lived in Washington D.C., Dubai or London. I would highly recommend Zula’s work to anyone with a high-​value garment and only one chance to get the job done right.

Zula the owner who does the Alterations she is AMAZING! I would trust her with anything and a Chanel. She is a graduate of the Design School of Moscow or something similar and trapped here in Orange Park! We are lucky to have her talent in our city. I moved to Green Cove from Fort Lauderdale where I would not go to anyone other than West Sample Shoe repair to have my alterations done, Francisco is a cobbler extraordinaire and his seamstresses are to die for! ! ! So I was tickled pink when I found Zula from reviews on the internet, she has her own clothing line which means she understands how clothing should fit and fall. I am so impressed with her skill. She has a client for life, or until she gets discovered and leaves us behind …

Zula, owner of Victor Alterations, is not only a seamstress but an actual fashion designer. She’s professionally trained and consistently is seen at fashion shows with her line, Zula Studio.
With her resume I expected to be paying a little more for her services but she’s amazingly reasonable with both time and prices. I’ve taken her everything from a chiffon bridesmaids dress, to denim jeans, to repair the sleeve of a silk blouse.
She is very honest with you in regards to the style, fabric, and your body type and you need that when it comes to your clothing and personal style.
