This school is one of the best public schools in Orange County. My son has been attending here since kindergarten and it has all of the nurturing environment with very good teachers that all schools should have but far too many don’t. It is not perfect as teachers are human too plus the elimination of class size reduction has hurt. But, surrounded by a community that truly helps as much as possible, this school is almost like getting a private school education for free.
Pity that in the US, accidents of birth and neighborhood location determines the quality of the school one attends. If equal opportunity really is a trait of our nation, we should do everything we can to ensure schools are equal as well. People don’t want handouts, they just want a chance and their children to have a chance.
