My experience has been positive so far. Having good dental insurance definitely helps as your co-​pay isn’t as great. $ 40.00 for a cavity is a good deal, they did not charge at all for sealant for my child’s teeth.
Completely agree with Japen G in regards to a «modern» dentist hitting customer’s up for services that are «needed» to pay for their «modern» equipment. I’ve been to a dentist who had specific employees (not receptionists) to go over unnecessary services which came out of your own pocket. Always get second opinions.
Dr. Cheng’s office doesn’t have a modern feel and I do wish they had separate rooms but again, they haven’t sold me any unnecessary services, either. The dental assistants have all been very accommodating.

I regret going to this dentist. I had a simple cavity and my teeth have not been the same since I went here to get it filled. I went back twice to get my sensitivity issue looked at that I had since they touched my teeth and she Melissa Chang only made it worse. They dont know what they are doing and made alot of money from my insurance. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST.

I will give a short background on why I looked for a new dentist office. I came from a dental office in Downey, Dr. Stucken, and well all they wanted to do was charge me and make me pay for Arestin Antibiotic shots, telling me that my gums are in bad shape. I fell for it once thinking okay maybe its the truth and I didn’t take care of my teeth enough. Paid over $ 600. A year from then, same old story, and I told them we did the Arestin treatment last year, they tell me I never did it. Umm hello, I know what I paid for. But they stuck to their story claiming I never got the shots. Well, that’s when I decided that those guys were just out to make as much money they can.
So I wanted something close by to work that I can just go during my lunc hour. So I tried this place out. They are honest and straight to the point. They have like 3 dentist on staff and they do switch around unless you specify a doctor. I really have no major complains about this place.
The only negatives I can think of is the ambiance of the place. You don’t get your own room so you can hear what is going on in the next stall. Also that it lacks that modern feel. But you know, I had that modern feel with the other dentist office, but now I know how they were able to afford that modern feel. The other thing is no freebies. Hehe.

Did not care for this dentist. She was always trying to sell me things not on my insurance plan and used fear tactics to do so, did not really appreciate that, that’s why I changed providers. Their space is rather packed and not really private like other dental offices I’ve been to.

Not too bad a place. Close to my house so convinient. Could use modern Xray tech to speed up the process. Last office I went to had digital Xrays that were on a computer in seconds.
