Claire’s

Target never has enough variety for hair clips so I come here. I buy most of my cute winter or summer hats here too. I bought a cute tutu/​mesh ballerina skirt here that I get compliments on whenever I wear it. I’m small so if I buy an XL size it fits me. Prices are cheap/​reasonable.
Tip: Even though this place is for tweens, it’s a good spot to pick up hair clips, hats, and accessories. They have a lot of good sales too.

So I actually use to work at this Claire’s, and i would just like to say thank you to Nicole for her nice review on the EP I did for her daughter. I hope everything is going great :) and hope we made this a good enough experience for you to return to this location or come and visit me at Fashion Island

Horrible service. Only one employee was working and I waited over 20 minutes before leaving. I saw 6 other customers come in and leave during the time I was there and not a single one of us was helped, let alone even acknowledged. She was doing ear piercings so I understood if it was going to be a little while, but couldn’t she have at least told me how long it was going to be, or at least let me know she knew I was there or apologize for the wait?

My eight year old daughter finally decided she was ready to have her ears pierced. After calling around to a few places and asking several questions, we settled on Claire’s. I really can’t say enough about Josie and Lorena who were both able to totally put my daughter (and me and my husband!) at ease. My daughter was very nervous and both girls were so sweet and patient with her — answering all of her questions and never rushing her. They were very gentle and her earrings look great. Thanks ladies! We will be back again once my five year old is ready to have her ears pierced.

Excellent service on the day of 12÷13÷14
I came in in a hurry to find a gift for my girlfriend and these two fine ladies went out of their way to try and get me that Dolphin jewelry. I’m sorry for not knowing their names but one had a nice accent and the other had a beautiful voice and smile. I will surely return for my future gifts!

So my bestie and I were feeling spontaneous, or rather I was feeling spontaneous and convinced my friend to pierce my cartilage with me haha but we ended up going to Claire’s at the orange mall. The lady who pierced our ears was super friendly and recommended us to split a pair of earrings since my friend and I were only piercing one side each so that way we saved some money. Filling out the paperwork is easy and the whole process didn’t take long at all. I really appreciated how the lady was nice about everything and was extra cautious in making sure we were completely satisfied with our piercings. I’d def recommend coming here! We each ended up paying about $ 32 (including the ear care solution) by splitting a pair or earrings rather than $ 35 – 36 if we bought our own separately.
Umm fyi for people interested in piercing their ears here is that Claire’s uses the plastic kind of piercing gun, not a needle. So if you’re really scared of infection and are a sanitary clean freak then I wouldn’t come here but honestly I think the risk is so low. I got mine pierced yesterday and my ear is perfectly fine now :)

Claires: Where getting ready is half the fun!!!
More like ALL the fun. They have the best selection I’ve ever seen in my life for all of lifes necessities: rings, necklaces, make-​up, plush toys, body jewelry, etc. You can also get your ear pierced. I thought it was going to hurt but it didn’t hurt at all! Maybe it was the girl doing the piercing or maybe it was because my BFF Kaitlynn was holding my hand the whole time, but my God, I could’ve gotten four more piercings that day! Pffft. Yeah right… mom would literally kick my ass!!! I also bought this cute hot pink dog tag necklace that says «I wish I could vote». It’s totally ironic because I can vote! Yay Obama!!!
This is also the place where I got those cute little ladybug wings that everybody at Electric Daisy Carnival were clamoring over this year… I swear about 20 people asked me where I got them and I would just take out my binky and say «Claire’s biotch! Will you be my friend?!»
Next time I go, fingers crossed, I’m going to get either a nose stud or belly button piercing. The jewelry they have is so cute and not all whorish like Hot Topic or Glitterati (ewwwwww).
I love the way you feel when you walk into Claire’s. It’s so colorful and the music is always banging… there’s so much darkness and sadness going on right now that it makes me feel as if I’m living in Watchmen’s dystopic alternate history 1985 or something. However, that all washes away once I walk into Claire’s; I feel like I’ve climbed back into my dear mothers womb and the bass kicks of Madonna’s «Ray of Light» serve as her comforting heartbeat.
