I just wanted to go out of my way to write a review and say everyone who works here is so great, the food never fails to be amazing and I have never had a bad experience coming in here by myself or with a friend

This place is awesome. Everybody is so obsessed with fast food delivery times these days that they lack the appreciation for quality. This spot is on point with quality. Service was awesome and everybody was kind and courteous. Don’t let bad reviews deter you… get out there!

This place is SO cool! Cyrano de Bergerac is one of my favorites, so I love the theme and thought put into their name. On top of that, there is a total Northern California hippie vibe going on in this place. Super comfy atmosphere, little nook tucked away at the bottom of the canyon. The food was yummy and they had interesting drinks they offered. Love the décor and atmosphere they’ve created. I’m happy to have a little place like this near my neighborhood.

This one star is for the food, which is the only thing that deserved a star. It was absolutely wonderful. I had the banana nut buttermilk pancakes and a side of the chicken Apple sausage. I have to say it was delicious. My boyfriend had two eggs, hash-brown, sausage and a side of bacon. He said it was very good. The reason why we gave this delicious food spot one star: The waiter was an a*****e!!! We didn’t have ketchup at our table so we asked for some, he said he will get it for us but didn’t seem to happy about it ok that’s number one, number two. The food took about 30 minutes to get to us. Mind you, this is not a sit down. When the food got to us, my boyfriend was missing the side of bacon. Number three, we told the waiter the bacon was missing, he said ok I’ll get it and obviously was displeased. When he brought the bacon, he threw the plate on the table and walked off. We said thank you after he was being rude and he continued to walk, didn’t look over at us and said your welcome with an attitude. I don’t know if this waiter was having a bad Sunday morning but I can give a sh** if he’s having a bad morning. I’m a polite customer and expect the waiter/waitress to be polite as well. You give respect and you get respect, common courtesy that he knew nothing about. So Unilocalers, if you read this review… Look out for this waiter(curly hair guy)

Nice little hidden café, food was delicious and the girl working the cashier was super friendly and patient with my order she even suggested a few items to try to help me, the French toast was delicious and came with lots of fruit! And the soy delicious smoothie made my tastebuds go crazy! They also have bottomless mimosas which I will return for!

This is my go-to breakfast stop when I am staying in the Orange area! Huevos Rancheros is a great dish with a warm muffin on the side!

Tucked in the corner of the plaza. The decorations create a nice & warm environment. Seating available both indoors & outdoors. Got the breakfast burrito with a side of fruit & enjoyed it! The iced vanilla latte was good too, although it was a tad on the sweet side. They have a wide selection of breakfast/brunch items, from paninis to acai bowls to French toast, & much more. Prices are pretty standard. Service was okay. The guy who worked the register didn’t seem very interested in doing his job. The guy who served our food was very enthusiastic & friendly, though.

Best breakfast in Orange County imho. I’m a sucker for good hash browns and their hash browns ordered crispy are spectacular. I also love their apple chicken sausage. Their coffee is strong and delicious, I’m partial to their iced mochas. Standard coffee shop price $ 8 – 10 for breakfast and lunch plates but a good selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches paired with great company and a beautiful outdoor patio make this hidden gem of Santa Ana hills a must visit.

This café is located at the back of what looks like a business park. Food is ordered at the counter and then brought to your table. There was one person ahead of me when I walked in. The woman working behind the counter spent what must’ve been 10 minutes bullshitting with the customer in front me. With very few customers and 3 people working it still took a while to get our food. Super disappointed with their Cuban sandwich. Overkill on the mustard.

Great breakfast place with fantastic selection of coffee. The location is nestled in a great shopping plaza right near Santiago college. Place is usually bustling on the weekends… but the turnover is usually quite fast and eliminates too long of wait. You will be sure to enjoy this place!

Cyranos is typically one of my favorite Sunday brunch spots, but today’s experience was terrible. My family ordered several drip coffees. They came out room temperature! Then we had to ask them to microwave the coffee two times so that is was at least warm. I expect hot coffee when I go out to eat.

Really really really slow service on Sunday mornings but the server Cole was super nice and helpful! Loved him. A lot of other staff were inexperienced and slow to the job. We received a latte with no steamed milk or foam. It looked like a flat cup of coffee. Cole was quick to fix it and personally made us lattes because apparently the other guy was new and inexperienced. The food was good. A little salty. I wish they had different styles of potatoes other than the hashbrowns as a side and maybe an expanded patio. Otherwise it was pretty good for the area.

We came here for a Sunday lunch after a morning at the park. Place was not packed(3 orders in before ours) but it took 25 minutes for us to get our food. Seemed like they cooked only one order at a time. I’d hate to see what this place is like when it’s packed. Food was decent, nothing special. My sandwich was kinda small for the price and the wife’s «panini» was not what I’ve come to expect a panini to be. It was really just a sandwich on grilled bread. Salt and pepper chips were tasty. Service was good enough for us(outside of the slow food), though I did watch as one of the gals tell a customer(in an annoyed tone) that they would bring the order out to them and to take the number to the table. I had a feeling they were related because that’s sometimes how I talk to my relatives. Regardless, there was a lack in professionalism. All in all, a wasted experience of a Sunday lunch.

Throughout our search for more quality breakfast joints in the area, this along with another coffee shop in the adjacent lot both came up as options that intrigued us. Despite the fact that we have been in this area on numerous occasions for visits to Chronic Tacos, I had no idea this place even existed prior to us hunting it down. Cyrano’s is hidden in the corner of the shopping center behind Chronic Tacos and Looney’s Donuts and has a bunch of quality breakfast and lunch options as well as a large number of quality coffee, non-coffee, ice blended, smoothies and other assorted drinks to choose from. The décor of Cyrano’s is a bit all over the place in the sense that none of the tables or chairs match, they have several with game tops(chess etc…) and walls are lined with various signs with popular quotes, quips and other sayings. This doesn’t bother me but I know several people who typically nitpick over these details so I thought I would mention them nonetheless. After looking over the breakfast menu for several minutes, I decided to go with the French toast with fresh berries. The French toast is available in normal or wheat versions and I am unsure if the berries are always the same or change depending upon what’s in season at the time. My wife decided to try the Acai bowl(without mango) as she tends to lean more to the healthier menu options than I typically will. The food came out quickly and both items looked delicious and fresh. My wife really seemed to enjoy the Acai bowl and when I asked said it was as good as the ones she’s had at places that specialize in them. The French toast was cooked perfectly and the syrup along with the fruit really played nicely together, this stands up as one of the better French toasts I have had as of late. We ordered basic iced tea to go with our breakfast but before leaving we decided to head back up to the front and order a couple of specialty drinks to go. My wife went with the Monkey Mocha while I went with Orange Julius. The Monkey Mocha looked delicious but the Orange Julius was basically a simple Orange Frappé(a drink I like) but lacked the consistency of a Julius that I was expecting when ordering it. It was sweet but still tasted delicious although I still prefer the Orange Frappé I get at another place over this one. Overall, this was yet another quality breakfast establishment we have discovered as of late and I definitely can see us returning again sometime soon. I definitely want to come back and try some of the lunch items as well and perhaps try the Monkey Mocha or one of their smoothies for myself. Good food, good pricing and good service. These are the qualities I look for when dining out and this place has them. The experience wasn’t perfect but it was well above average and that’s good enough for me. They also have a phone charging unit on the bar top that can be used as well so this is a nice addition if your phone needs a bit more juice.

Decidedly neighborly and distinctively accessible. The charitably charming Egg-a-la-Bagel is served with your choice of bagel with either bacon or sausage patty, and freshly prepared egg omelet swathed with bubbling cheddar cheese. The well-executed açaí bowl is assembled with granola(contains nuts and seeds), blueberries, strawberries, bananas, sweetened coconut and agave syrup. Self-care sanctuary.

Came here on a Saturday morning for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised! Highlights: ICEDMOCHA: I don’t know what they used, but this was probably one of the best mochas i have ever tried. It was creamy and chocolate-y and so good. California Burrito: my family LOVED this. It has AVOCADO(which makes everything better), eggs, cheese, hash browns, tomatoes and bacon. It’s really good! Chorizo and Eggs: I love chorizo so this was delicious! They give a generous portion of chorizo and comes with toast or tortillas if you ask for them. I’d definitely come again. The only thing is that service is a little slow. However, right when we ordered, they told it would take around 15 — 20 minutes to get our order.

Delicious, hand-crafted, soul-soothing coffee drinks. The mochas are my favorite. Full breakfast and lunch menu with all the crowd favorites and a few special creations like the California Benedict — bistro fare with inspiration from south of the border. Try the steak sandwich, tacos, breakfast burrito — try everything! Even the oatmeal is amazing. Portions are very generous and everything is cooked to order and cooked to perfection every time. Crispy seasoned hash browns, tangy hollandaise sauce that is not too thin, not too thick — just right. Service is friendly and quick. Start’s getting busy around 10 am on weekends and parking can be tight. Free wifi. Prices are reasonable. Seating is limited.

I have not been into this neighborhood shop in quite a while, and needing a bite and a caffeine fix, I decided to hit it up last Sunday after riding. It has been upgraded over the last couple of years, with a more upscale look. Coffee was good, and I had the huevos rancheros, which were quite tasty. There is outdoor seating(I used to come here with the dogs) and on this day, there were two customers who ride on horseback and left their horses tied up in the parking lot. It is tucked away in the very back of the shopping center, and I hope that the new coffee shop on the corner does not cannibalize too much business. I don’t go into either to pick a favorite, but it just seems silly to have 2 small businesses compete in such a small market, and Cyrano’s HAS been here way, way longer.
