I had Karolina for my full bikini wax and she was amazing! Super nice, fast, minimal pain and did a great job. I would definitely go back to Karolina!

This was the worst wax I’ve ever had. The waxer left loads of hair and was overall unfocused and unprofessional. I won’t be returning. My experience was actually so bad and out of sync with the reviews on here that I joined Unilocal just to share it.

I was so excited to try a new place to get my eyebrows done. I typically just get them waxed at nail salons and was looking for a better place. After reading the reviews on Unilocal I decided that I couldn’t go wrong by trying the European wax center in Orange. Well… I couldn’t be more furious and disappointed after my visit. Dori, who was my waxer, took a large chunk of my eyebrow off. She tried to pass it off by saying that «that side was thinner» than the other but as soon as I looked in the mirror I saw the chunk of hair that was missing from my eyebrow. I am so mad … Thank god I didn’t have to pay for my first visit because I wouldn’t have anyway. I have NEVER had this happen to my anywhere else. I had to go immediately to buy an eyebrow pencil to fill in this now missing part of my brow. I am furious and will never go back to this location again!

Wow! EXCELLENT! So pleasantly surprised. The reviews were dead on for Michelle! She rocks! Brazilian wax genius! Room was clean and bright. She was efficient and quick. Will be back for sure! So glad I took a chance and made the online appointment. Totally worth the price and I’m considering a member ship for sure!

I have loved this place since my first visit. They were still training and offered me a free session. Michelle was my waxing professional and she was amazing from beginning to end. She is professional yet makes you feel comfortable and confident you are in great hands. I won’t go to anyone else! The facility is clean as is all the equipment. Welcome to Milford and job well done! You have created a lifer!

I’ve been going to European Wax Center for a little over two years, and recently moved to CT, so I was so happy when I found one nearby. The GSAs are always so welcoming and friendly, and extremely accommodating. I always change my reservation the day before and it is never a problem. I see Karolina and she is always sweet and amazing! She is quick and gentle, but also does an amazing job. So happy I have this place nearby!

Exceeded all expectations!
Let me start by saying I don’t Unilocal usually. Who’s to ever say that one experience is going to predict the next? But for such an amazing experience I had to give my story. I’ll split it into services and customer service.
Customer service was incredible. I called ahead at 7:15pm (even though they close at 8pm) to see if they could fit in a customer (and a new one at that). With a couple perky questions as to what I was having done they agreed to see me tonight. They then called me back about 5 min later to express concern about the time, though never refusing to complete the services and offering me the choice. Since I was already en route there I warned them I was on my way and they were good with it. Got to the place and Kaitlynn came to collect me within 2 minutes. She was incredible! While I’m not new to waxing by any stretch, this was my first time at EWC and she did a great job not only explaining the materials and products she was using but offered a gentle but hard sell to purchase them (even mentioning a sale!) After the wax, they had various payment options and offered me pretty wonderful deals (and choices based on what I thought worked best for me). I left after everything was done and purchased around 8:17pm and yet never felt that I was being rushed out or inconveniencing them in any way.
Services: I have gotten waxing for over a decade and used many different kinds of strip wax and hard wax, professionally and home kits. This was, by far, the fastest and least painful experience. Ever. I’ve got (more than a few) extra pounds so my skin is not exactly like the models that show how «easy» waxing can be. My skin usually needs to be pulled taut (in all directions) so the strip doesn’t leave behind little skid marks of wax that is a mess to remove. Anyone who’s ever waxed knows one of the most beautiful feelings is running your hand over a perfectly smooth recently waxed leg. That usually gets dampened a bit by the little remnants of wax that require picking and oil/​lotion and time (if it doesn’t stick to your pants as you leave). I don’t have any extra wax anywhere and that is nothing short of incredible.
In short (for you TL;DR people) this place was amazing, both in accommodating a last minute late night person, to exceptional services rendered. I will be back and hope they (Courtney, Michaela and Kaitlynn — apologies for name spelling errors!) remain as efficient and welcoming as I’ve found them to be tonight.

First, this place is very new so don’t look at the number of views and think there is an issue.
The manager, Cortney… AWESOME! Highly professional, very friendly, and really wants to please all customers. She listens to any concerns or comments and makes necessary changes quickly! It’s truly amazing.
I’ve had the following waxers: Katie, Leilany, Stephanie, and Dominique! Literally they are all amazing!!! I’ve been going to EWC for 6 years. All the waxers + manager are so professional, location is clean, music selection is great (haha)!
You can’t go wrong with any waxer. Just ask your waxer to show you the mirror before you’re done. Sometimes they forget, but they’re so nice so just ask and if you see something and let them know, they quickly fix it!

I am a frequent wax goer with European Wax Center. I’ve gone to all the locations in CT. For over 2 years now. I have my girl in Westport that I go to when I need waxing (I work in Westport) but if I have to go to the Orange location I am going to go to Michelle from now on! She is very thorough and has 20 years of waxing experience! It definitely shows.

After visiting this location based on the reviews I read on Michele they were all spot on. I must say she was awesome! Made me feel very comfortable and did a great job! The girls in the front desk were also super friendly and helpful. Most of all, Michele made my experience what it was.

I was there about a month ago and forgot to leave a review. I had visited the Fairfield wax center maybe a year and a half ago and had Michele wax eyebrow, bikini and lip. It was so quick and painless and for the first time I did not break out from the product. Since I live in West Haven, when the new one opened in Orange I had to go. I was pleasantly surprised when, as a walk in, I recognized Michele working here. I immediately made sure I requested her and sat for a half hour waiting for her next appointment. It was worth it. I have light light eyebrows that take forever to grow back. I do not need to get waxed too often which is great for my wallet but when I visit Michele is the only way to go. She is very professional and you can tell she has been waxing for years. Time efficient and great shaping.

I’ve been to other locations and this one is exactly the same. Same look, same pricing, even some of the employees have been transferred. I had Dominique and she was excellent. She took great care in making sure she removed as much hair as possible. Also was very friendly! Pricing packages are the best way to go to save someone’s because it definitely isn’t a cheap service. But you do get what you pay for.

I’m so happy to have found European Waxing Centers, and this is a great new location! I usually break out with the old wax and strip paper method — they use a paper-​free method that is way less painful and I never break out. Whitney was great and gave a warm welcome at the reception and Michelle gave an excellent wax! I’m very pleased with this new spot!

Love this new location. The girls up front are great and the waxier Michele is also awesome. However, the manager ‘Tammy’ is very rude and unprofessional. I watched her give dirty looks to customers and talk about customers when she hung up the phone while I waited for my waxing session-​she makes it beyond uncomfortable and almost made me not want to return to this location. She was talking about employee issues while I was waiting. The other girls, however are great and so welcoming and explain the best packages for you-​they seem to be more professional than the manager. I will return just because of them and Michele. They also have student membership prices which ‘Tammy’ forgot to tell me and I was told by the other girl another time.
